Keyword, overpaid. Which means no matter who he signed he wouldn't be worth the money.

True but to get hitters we have to overpay.  I am perfectly fine with paying a hitter that is worth 10-12 Mil a year 17 Mil.....as opposed to paying a pitcher who is worth 4-5 Mil a year 17 Mil.

But thats just me.

I thought I felt the corner turning after the first Nats game, then we blew the next two. A week later and it feels that way again. I'm certainly glad to say I was wrong about the nail in the coffin, we're not out of just yet.
