We've actually gotten lucky with his defensive performance this year. Until the previous road trip he had not cost us a game according to Baggarly. Unfortunately his defense begins to fail when we desperately need wins.

He's only on a 1 year deal. I dont anticipate him being back next year b/c some AL team will give him some money.

But for the most part, he has hasn't cost us any games defensively until maybe 2 in the last few weeks.

Good to see Belt have some good ABs today, it would be a great for the lineup if he can get it going.

If Morse is in the lineup, this is the only situation that would work moderately well. Belt much more capable out there than Morse. Yet Belt is very good at 1B. Cant be wasting games at this point, every one is valuable going forward.
