It’s crazy that there are teams who played this weekend and didn’t win

UCLA beating overrated but still trash LSU is going to do more harm to that program than if they’d just gotten blown out

wont do any harm, unless the team wins out.UCLA will be looking for a new coach.

CU needs alums to start writing checks to get this thing fixed. Dorell was never the right fit for this team.

and hire who? its not a good job

It's not about the hire It's about alums investing in the football team and other athletic programs. CU cries poverty every year but their unwillingness to invest in sports has been a problem since Gary Barnett was here.

The dude had his wife write a fake death threat letter and drive out to a remote town between College Station and Austin to mail it in an attempt to make Aggie fans look bad when his firing became inevitable.

Coached and represented A&M at conferences and meetings many times drunk…

He might be the one person that can’t be fixed by Saban’s coaching rehab school.

Feel a bit bad for him, but he let that initial A&M contract and Johnny’s immediate success go straight to his head.
How do you ask you wife to do this and she not respond with, "baby, has it really come to this?"

I mean - she did leave him not long after all this.

But the initial rumor that his wife did it for him to try and circumvent getting fired for cause because of all the other issues wasn’t true.

It certainly HELPED him not get fired for cause.

But it was some weirdo Longhorn graduate that actually sent the letter. He was arrested like a year and a half later and his bond at the time was like $250k

Kiffin at UCLA would be something I'd like to see
I don’t think ucla would do it. Hafley, Brennan, or Deboer is more likely.

IMO UCLA probably doesn’t fire Chip with that buyout that doesn’t decrease but they also haven’t started negotiating his contract extension yet and his deal expires after next season, so maybe they just let it run out?
