I'm not trying to convince anyone of the outcome of this series. I don't think posting a highlight video from a game in february is going to sway anyone's opinion on who wins this series. I think Lakers in 6 is the most likely outcome but disagree with some of the basis people post in here for it. Namely: "harden and westbrook aren't much different than dame/CJ, and the lakers beat them in 5, so lakers should cruise in 6". I think the rockets present different challenges to the lakers offensively and defensively which can be a point of discussion in here.

I guess if you're looking for a point that I'm "trying to convince" anyone of is that I don't think the Lakers winning the series, however many games it takes them to do so, should be an indictment on the small-ball philosophy as a whole. The rockets don't have the tools to optimize small ball to to it's fullest potential, but that doesn't mean the system isn't/can't work.

Didn’t he average about 30 against the Lakers during the regular season? (To give one example).

Edit - yes, he did. 30, 35, 27, 29, so 30.25 PPG against a pretty good defensive team.
