One thing Perk ( ) is leaving out is when KG is telling Doc he wants Lebron.... Kg can look around the huddle and see HOF’ers. And he can look at the Cavs and see a one man team. So hell yeah you gotta shut Lebron down when he’s going off.

I think this is completely discounting the talent pool for basketball getting exponentially larger between the eighties and now. Yes, the more teams you have in the league the more watered down the competition is but now we have a much larger pool of talent to pull from.
