This broke me.

Besides losing one of the best & most gracious celebrities we'll ever see, it reminded me of losing my uncle to colon cancer fourteen years ago. He was 33.

My earliest memory is his casket closing. I only knew him for a short amount of time but so much of who I am today is because of him. All my family members tell me how much I look like him, act like him, talk like him, etc.

Sorry for the mini rant. **** cancer.

had no idea he had cancer. To still work and film all those movies, attend premieres, and red carpet event all while battling this is nothing short of amazing...couldn’t imagine what he was going through on a daily basis. RIP KING.

I just can’t fathom this shhh

obviously dude was a star

but he was about to be on a whole other level.. blackpanther was being set up to replace ironman

and with X-men and fantastic four now being under marvel.. he would be able to be the string that tied certain characters to the avengers.. Most obviously storm of the X-men and dr doom

dude was on the cusp of being one of that very few handful of biggest stars in the world.. a relatively young black man

smmmmmhhhhh

battling cancer while starring in a film that was so much more than just a “movie.” absolutely crushed it in both 42 and black panther. this news feels surreal.

Chadwick Boseman is that dude. Rest in Power :emoji_cry:

Imagine Disney having an infallible black superstar superhero, and they lose him this soon. Just unbelievable. So sad. I am (admittedly) not a huge fan of Black Panther (edit: the movie, not the character), but this just sucks. He was as talented as anyone in the industry, could poke fun at himself (as he did on SNL), and delivered all the time. This is a tremendous loss.

outside of Black Panther, he was great in the James Brown biopic.

long live the god

This **** hit different for me man. My Mom passed this May from stage 4 colon cancer. She told me after I redeployed. I went to the appointment with her and they told her it was stage 4 and she had possibly 6 months. That **** crushed me. Worst part was that he was absolutely right. He told us this in November, she passed in May.

RIP Chadwick 🙏🏼

Damn. Woke up seeing Chadwick boseman passed smh. Rest easy. That’s terrible. Yo was young as ****

Klay going at necks.

need more of this.. those guys with power need to make power moves

for example, giannis should tell the warriors he won’t even meet with them unless they come out super duper strong against that officer that assaulted ujiri and against the department that not only defended him but covered up his actions

tell the owners they are going to review who they’ve been supporting and their actions when certain things have happened

need these dudes to have more of a backbone like the WNBA players

I shouldn't have said Disney. I only referenced it in terms of his Black Panther/Marvel role that put him on the map. He was an A-list Hollywood star. So sad.

Helllll no. Social media is a powerful tool.

We can expose the hate, the bias, the prejudice, the lies, etc etc etc. Put all this foolishness on front street on a global scale.

It's the strongest tool we have.

Don't be short sighted.

All this stuff been front page news before social media..... ya’ll fools if you ever thought them people was on your side. They threw tomatoes at Ruby Bridges in the 60s. She was a child. If it took SM for some y’all to understand racism, that’s a problem

Even if Pat bev did say some wild stuff like that, it shouldn’t leak to the media.

c’mon. It’s 2020, people so caught up in gossip and social media. Attention seeking, nothing will ever be kept secret anymore. People be itching to run their mouth

NT is a forum. Forums are vastly different from social networks.
The focus is rarely on any of us as individuals but rather on a specific subject. Like playoff basketball for example.
The anonymous, insular nature of NT combined with the decentralized interactions of posting in a thread instead of on someone's personal page makes it nothing like facebook, twitter or instagram.

Don’t even explain to them bruh. NT LITERALLY started in 1999. Desktop PCs.... for damn 10+ years NT was strictly used at home. Didn’t become mobile until like 2007 or 2008. Kids still use to go outside and play. Paypal and Mobile currency wasn’t even available yet.....

But time and again, you got users comparing a form from the late 90s, and early 2000s to MOBILE apps created in the 2010s.... LOL.

Started using NT when I was 13 in 2001. IG, Twitter, etc in 2009 and 2012 at 22 and 24 years old. :rollin. I’m 32. It’s no comparison. I hate SM, but love NT. I’m on NT more than anyyyyyy form of SM.

maybe because STOPPING something, forces the hand of the oppressors. Americans are so entitled
