Last night was Bron's first real game as a Laker, everybody on the TL acknowledged it. Glad the HGH reup is coming.

Doesn't change the fact that all y'all fall asleep when we winning.

Almost missing the team bus after practice to get extra work in, 2 a days over the summer training, actually shooting a jumper in a game etc

Meanwhile Ben still has not improved any of his weaknesses. Just comparing those 2

It was evident Fultz was working his tail off in the summer. Embiid too as he addressed all his weaknesses from last year (which is incredible).

Simmons on the other hand is the same player unfortunately, instead of addressing his weaknesses, he seemed to focus on harnessing what he’s already good at which was a strategic mistake as his game has become too predictable.

Don’t let Laker hate cloud your judgement on BI.

Bruh is 21 years old.
He’s been playing great defense this year. Check out the splits Doncic had when BI was taking Luka vs Dallas. He made CJ work for his last night. His perimeter defense is really coming along smoothly.

On the offensive end, he’s settling for midrange too much right now and needs to increase his 3point rate but you can see the skills are there. Defenses are sagging on him, preventing him from driving and forcing him into long jumpers. He needs to hit those jumpers and make the defense pay / respect his shot and everything will open up.

Rondo being out will have Luke playing BI at back up point too and that’s where he really excelled last year. He’s a good passer and was great in the facilitator role.

Kid is 21. The book hasn’t even started yet.

So who are the disappointing young players so far this season?

Ingram
Fultz
Simmons?
Tatum?

I'll have to find the post but he's been exceptional on defense in FG% against I think.

Tatum been improving... shots weren’t falling for a stretch but he’s getting better.

I swear he has small hands or some ****. Dude can never hold onto the ball in traffic. Got butterfingers

What kinda return can the sixers get for has Ben at this point? They should move him while his value is still somewhat high

I’ll chalk Tatum and Mitchell up as the league preparing for them in year 2. They are neutral. Maybe even throw Simmons in there too. DSJ and Lonzo look like they’ve made marginal improvement but their flaws are still there.

Josh Jackson looks worse. Fultz is Fultz.

The star is De’Aaron Fox. Top 10 PG

Serious question:

Why do Laker fans defend Brandon Ingram saying he's only 21 years old & will improve but D'Angelo Russell was written off after one season?

Young Players in General on my list:

Mitchell slumping
Simmons idk what to say
Tatum seems to be coming out his funk
Josh Jackson is BUNZ
Fox flourishing
Zo shooting better but not aggressive still
Ingram...not a fan but I see the versatility in him
Fultz......idk
I like AG energy in Orlando so far
Myles Turner....regress
Issac...Book still out but I see flashes
DSJ...needs better shot selection but I like his game
Frank NT....Tony Allen 2.0
I actually like Harry Giles game
Kuz is sort of a wrecking ball to me, can shoot but tries to do too much
OG lookin good
Dwayne Bacon and Monk....pshhh Charlotte misses again.

Cause he actually improved from year 1 to year 2. Ratsull been the same since coming in.

Y’all gotta stop saying “laker fans” like there aren’t 1000 of us on here.

They both deserve time.

Dlo’s 3 point shooting > BI’s
BI’s defense & facilitating > Dlo

As a Dlo fan, I’m having reservations about where I think he can go. His defensive intensity & overall decision making isn’t anywhere close to where it needs to be.

Worst fans on Earth.

Imagine saying this while simultaneously stanning a guy who's been dragging your team for the the better part of a decade

Ppl crown players too early, a solid rookie year and that player is the next perennial all star...but its the wild hot take era so I get it

I see Bron Bron was ballin last night ! :hat ...ALA patiently waiting in the cut for the next losing streak tho :nerd:

Fair.

But even on draft night, 10 games in, 20 games in, etc. some of y'all just didn't rock with him. It almost seemed like y'all were waiting for him to fail just to say 'See, told you so'.
