Remember reading a feature on him in SLAM when he was 16 and dropped some ridiculous statline in the age group world champs. Told my friend at the time that athletic ability won’t let him be a superstar in the NBA so he better improve the hell out of his shooting. Dude was convinced Rubio was the next Magic

Athletic ability isn’t the problem, he can’t shoot or finish at the rim. Sure the knee injuries have hurt.

Ricky hit a wave to the second half of the season. He was at like 16 and 6 on 46/43 shooting
He had never had the same coach consecutive seasons since his rookie year until this season
This was one of the rare summers he didn’t have to workout with Spain’s national team
