The NBA landscape is so competitive that unless you're an all NBA level talent if you don't focus on winning, you're out of the league. I'm not really understanding anyone's argument about "ring culture", are you guys being sarcastic?

Agreed for the most part, the only other two scenarios I don't see it being added to a Legacy:
- Ring chasing at the twilight of your career, I think your Legacy will be stronger if you retire with the team that drafted you rather than chasing a ring as a bench player
- Pull a KD to GSW, I don't know how much it added to his career winning with that team. I feel like it hurt his legacy rather than add to it. But we will see a few years down the road.
