The point of that comment was to point out the extremely low sample size in games played as the main guy compared to Devin Booker.

If you can't understand that....it wouldn't be the first time you couldn't understand something in here

Here's a critique, Booker had not being able to make his team a 25 win team yet. We are on year 5?

Whether he was making 1 dollar or 30m, if a dude is elite, he could push for a few more victories. So although dude has put up monster numbers what does it really means?

AGAIN NOBODY is blaming Booker for the Suns woes, we're just saying that for a player who's supposed to be that good... he hasn't had much of an impact on his team winning at all. so people have doubts on just how good he really is & that's valid.

This all comes down to the level you think Booker is currently at, if your looking at him like he's gonna be great in the Future... sure his record over these years make sense, most young players don't have that big of an effect (although i will say by year four guys elite guys atleast improve their team by 5-10 wins)

However if you think Booker is an ELITE or top 30 player in the NBA, then i think it's fare to expect more than the lower 20's in win total by now with a relatively healthy team.

But he also isnt the central reason for them being relatively successful now either. That's where my initial comment of him not being IT came from. Can he improve to be IT, of course but right now HE AINT IT. I see him as Cleveland Kyrie, he getting buckets and such but that's about it

I'm not the one that initially threw out the word special. Someone else did. To me, special basketball players aren't losing this many games every year regardless of who's on the court.

Can I quantify it? Maybe not. But you can probably tell it when you see it.

I'd agree he's not the central reason they suck. But I don't think he's a guy that's going to raise the level of anyone around him and put a franchise on his back or ever be the best player on a really good basketball team. The empty stats thing was kinda a joke initially, but I don't think he does anything exceptionally well aside from score the basketball.

Extremly low sample size and he won more games than Booker. What kind of dumb argument are you proposing, look at the Knicks with out him. Almost the same record as the Booker lead team. Yet 10 games worst ... so he actually had an impact on the wins. Show me Booker, please!!!

Booker signed his extension so naturally you can put some blame on him but dude has been through multiple coaches and tons of teammates. Plus he what the market said he was worth, so his salary is a moot point imo.

Asking Booker to carry the load is one thing, asking him to overcome the shear amount of incompetence thrown at him by his franchise is another.

There were plenty of great pure scorers/shooters (Ray, Redd, Reggie, list goes on) who led their teams to much more than Devin Booker.

He can put the ball in the hole, no question. But the praise he gets after his pointless 60 point games in losses is laughable at this point. Same **** just a different year.
