^^^ There’s a dude on NBA Radio - I think Brian Geltzeiler - who swears all the Celtics problems are because Jaylen Brown doesn’t play enough. Dude is convinced Brown is superstar in the making.

I point this out not to hate on Jaylen Brown, but to highlight that a lot of so called “experts” don’t know what they’re taking about.
I can see that honestly. He has it in him. But he was playing at the beginning of the season as a starter and WASNT producing. But how can he with alll the other guys on the court/ team. Hes playing scared. He should be jamming everytime. Another guy that plays scared while being an undercover star is brandon ingram

Well obviously Towns is on the Wolves so both. He can't be absolved of the struggles they've had though w/o Stringer Bell as he's been in almost every game putting up "numbers" but hasn't translated to wins.

You barber shop guys specialize in intellectual dishonesty :smh:

they got off to such a hot start because they had 2 stars playing at a high level.

The conservation you entered was about Jimmy Butler CARRYING the Timberwolves to the playoffs.

Karl-Anthony Towns was third in the entire ******* league in Win Shares last season. What part of this don't you understand?

They started off 36-25 because of Jimmy Butler AND Karl-Anthony Towns. Not because Jimmy Butler was "carrying" the team. How the hell can you "carry" a team and have another all star on it? If Lebron had Paul George as a teammate this season...perhaps he could have helped that trash *** group stay afloat. Get it?

Your cross dressing hero Russel Zestbrook carried a team in 2017. Anthony Davis carried a team in 2015. They did not have teammates putting up 20+ 10+ on elite splits. Jimmy Butler WAS the difference in the Timberwolves at full strength vs not at full strength. Duh. That wasn't the argument. Of course KAT can't carry a team despite his talent. Few can. And especially not Jimmy ******* Butler.

:smh:

How do you explain the numbers when Stringer wasn't there then? Overall team numbers and record wise then?

I just explained this to you man. Just read it again out loud this time or something.

This is such a weird nba season. Bunch of premiere players marred in underwhelming seasons. Paul George the primary MVP candidate... and KD seems to be a shoo in to leave a perfect situation in golden state
