And Giannis is the clear MVP right now. I don't think there's anyone close.

I don't mean that in a basketball sense, but in an MVP sense, you'd be foolish to not bet the house on him winning it.

Everyone loves Giannis. He has the narrative, the story of coming from nothing and bringing the small market bucks to title contention, he's young, team success, individual success, combine that w/the public's apathy towards Harden and I'd be SHOCKED if he wasn't the runaway MVP right now.
He's the runaway MVP for sure

Best player on the best team

Straight up unguardable and dominant on a basketball court right now.

There's a 6 game difference between Giannis and PG right now if that continues he'll no doubt win but if it gets to 3 or so PG will have a legit chance cause he's the DPOTY right now as well having a Hakeem-esque campaign.

And it’s apathy that they created themselves :lol they did everything they possibly could to try awarding #AnybodyButHarden the MVP, but he left no stone unturned last year. Scoring, defending (yes, defending), assisting, and got the #1 seed. He forced their hand and they had no choice. This was basically the media awarding him the MVP, along with his sulking detractors

I’m here for a Paul George redemption story to win, and Harden staying in the convo just to see the media and NTers wet their diapers daily.

Lebron should see if the Lakers can trade for Harden

At this point, the Lakers would be lucky to even be able to trade for Nene

Folks still impressed by empty stats smh

As great of a year a PG is having it's Giannis. It ain't always as debatable as we want it to be. Some years it's clear cut this is one of those years.

I want Giannis to win the MVP. I think he should.

But I'd also be OK if PG wins it.

Just, not Harden. They'd be rewarding that man's style of play if they give it to him :lol

I read something about Harden averages 7 more shot attempts than Giannis but only, point 6 percent more field goals made. The difference is made up by free throws of course.

Absolutely disgusting stat and makes me wanna vomit
Perhaps Harden not being a 7ft freak of nature has something to do with it. Majority of Giannis attempts are in the paint, and he only shoots 2 less FTs per game.

Rockets would need to get at about 3rd seed for Harden to have a chance, of which is just about out of reach for them.

The fact that Harden has to carry about a 40% USG for them to be competitive is amazing tho. These last few MVP races have been otherworldly
