Trae was really good last night. Didn't hear a peep about him when he shot 32% from the field in the 3 games prior. That's how the thread normally works though...

Aight Should we do a larger sample size then like say...idk, his last 15, or 30 games where he's averaging 20/4/9 on 43/36/81? On 7 attempt per from 3? Your call.

Is Sexton or SGA still better than him?

Regardless, I think the point isn't that Trae won't have bad games, he's a rookie...in his age 20 season at that. Like I said, it's a 2, 3 year thing w/him but the talent and skill been there from jump.

The point though, at least for me, has always been and always will be the ability and skill level. He's one of the best passers in the league right now at 20 years old, making plays w/guys who are barely NBA players. There aren't 8 better playmakers right now than Trae. The list of pg's who put up 17/4/8 as a rookie is filled with...

Nvm, you know the vibes.

Warriors are gunna call Dray’s bluff.
I doubt he leaves the best situation possible for a ****ball team just for a few extra million dollars. He wants the max from GS and he prolly thinks Rich Paul can help him get it.

Based on things that Draymond has said, I think he's out of there and demands a trade if not in the summer, at some point next season. He'll take less than the max from the other 29 teams, but he won't from GSW. He's mentioned quite a few times about wanting to get paid, and I just can't imagine that he'll stick w/GSW if he isn't taken care of by them.

If KD sticks around, Draymond def gone ...he’s probly the Lakers back up plan for the front court if they don’t get AD in the summer

still think harden getting that mvp

if westbrook got it for the triple double harden definately should get it for the 30 point streak
I don’t think harden gets it if the bucks keep rolling and the rockets don’t crack 50 games

I don't disagree with a single thing you said because skill level was never my argument with him. He's actually valued the ball more, which is the biggest thing I've seen from him. He's no longer playing like he's brain dead.

Had that boy spinning around in a damn circle

I might've broke my pelvis to this song, getting twerked on by some big boot my chick at some party/club over the years to this song....and had no idea who made it...let alone there was a video for it :{ :lol

And, you take away November, where he shot 19% from 3 (Which looks more and more like an outlier)

he's at 36% on 3's while taking over 6 a game, almost all of which are off the dribble and from halfway to half court. At 20 years old.

He is not a finished product, and he does make some bad decisions, but the vision and skill at 20 is insanely good, the playmaking, the finishing, he got it. He's playing w/a rookie head coach, bad NBA players, and still doing this.

And Giannis is the clear MVP right now. I don't think there's anyone close.

I don't mean that in a basketball sense, but in an MVP sense, you'd be foolish to not bet the house on him winning it.

Everyone loves Giannis. He has the narrative, the story of coming from nothing and bringing the small market bucks to title contention, he's young, team success, individual success, combine that w/the public's apathy towards Harden and I'd be SHOCKED if he wasn't the runaway MVP right now.

All good.

My stance was mostly focused on the combination of his size and the way he seemed to be "wired". A lot of times you just are what you are and don't change, i.e. Russ.

His decision making has CLEARLY improved. Which is good. Interested to see how he develops.

@ Gunna having songs titled "Yao Ming" and "Derrick Fisher" on his album

Feels like in the past 5 years there has been 500 songs named after NBA players
