Hawks are really hovering a bit under .500 in their last 30 games. They may be on to something in Atlanta if they hit on their 2 picks this June.

Say it again.

Grabbing Collins, Young, Huerter, and Spellman in just two seasons will fast track a rebuild for sure. They won 24 games last year, and they already are at 19 this year with wins over the Clippers, Thunder, Lakers, 76ers, and Nuggets.

Lebron's been a terrible defender for awhile now, but he legit looked old and scared / incapable of moving laterally trying to guard Trae Young on those switches. I don't doubt that he isn't fully healed.

But suh it go. As I said before, Bron wasn't going to play all 82 and the Lakers genius brain trust decided to surround him with this roster, a roster obviously incapable of sustaining itself in the predictable event that bron missed some time. Why I had them out of the field in the offseason.

I'm sure you foresaw him missing the most games of his career (18]. Rondo missing (15) Zo on his way to missing 15. And Kuz, BI, & McGee all missing stints and many of them at the same time compounding things. It's more than just Bron on the surface level missing games.

Ehh, I didn't say I foresaw bron missing time due to injury. I simply said he wasn't playing all 82, something he's only done once in his entire career. Whether it be for rest, load management, whatever, he wasn't playing all 82 again.

What was the logic behind thinking he was going to play all 82 again?

The other guys relative to this, don't matter to me. I'm not high on Zo, Kuz, or BI, Rondo wasn't good last year until the playoffs. I think you have more problems at hand if you can't tread water w/those guys missing time.

Which is the point. Roster construction. Those guys just weren't / aren't good enough to be alright w/LBJ missing time for any reason.

So if he missed 10 games instead of 18 they wouldn't be in better position?

Or even in the 18 games that he missed actually have all the rest of the guys available when they went 5-4?

It's always gonna be they couldn't win with Lebron because it's the popular narrative, when it's really they can't win W/o Bron,Ball, Rondo, Javale, Kuz etc etc.

Our entire starting lineup hasn't played 20 games together all season, it's way more than bron

Meh, Who knows. One would think they should be, but What part of the schedule are those 10 games that he missed? What if they go 2-8 w/o Lebron and w/the west as tight as it's been all season, that 2-8 stretch might have come back to haunt them. They were a bottom 10 team in the league w/o bron this year so who knows what those 10 games would have looked like. Variables.

If he missed only 10 instead of 18, but missed the playoffs by 2 games, then what?

**** the rockets and the spurs, but this guy is off his rocker.

Dammit, I clicked the article. I hate supporting clickbait.

It doesn't really matter what stretch it was, the team was playing slightly over .500 ball when the rest of the kids were there without Bron. That's a fact. I'd say the problem was they only played together for half of the 18 when he was out.
