Players sign a contract knowing that thy can get traded at any time. That's a con that they accept because of all the positives: regardless of where they end up getting traded, whether they get hurt and can't play anymore games, or if they are simply not playing up to level of expectations, they're getting paid no matter what. That's a trade off anyone in this thread would happily accept.

Okay & from this point on Teams have to accept that players can voice there displeasure & frustrations with the franchise publicly & that may effect their trade value in the future... they reap all the benefits of having a superstar player playing for their franchise... they also have to deal with it. It's a two way street.

When the teams decide to change plans it's just something the players have to deal with, when the players decide to change plans suddenly the convo is about breaching contracts. it's a ridiculous argument that people have, ESPECIALLY when you consider the players are the draw here, nobody is coming out to watch the owners & franchises.

I mean recruiting for what, Lebron aint getting Zion unless its for rich Paul to be his agent.

Zion is already known to be going to Roc Nation. Zion and Coach K already mentioned not speaking to LeBron at the game. Much ado about nothing.

i foresee major changes in the next cba. the owners can’t keep pushing this “partnership” relationship if it’s a 1 way street.

and you can't keep using the small market angle when players have shown they’re willing to stay or leave, regardless of market size.

Talk of the office this morning.

You called them goons, so I can already imagine how that office talk went :smh:

Actually Savannah was the one who revealed this to Us Magazine.

No. She revealed SOME of the issue which is why I said it's not exactly true. You in here on some gossip girl ish and don't even know what happened. When honestly, you know if Bron knew about you spreading this bull he'd beat tf out of you. And Rome, DRU, Frank, Sian, etc. On top of the fact that, they didn't even get married until 2013 so that 2010 issue wasn't about "saving his marriage". There was far more that went into it, which isn't anyone in this thread's business. You're a clown forever

You're right. Players are the draw. Which is why management spends considerable money - guaranteed money - for x player to play x amount of games.

You speak of breaching contract as if it's some minor small thing. You breach a contract anywhere else in life and you're not an NBA player you're paying the consequences.

and agin i don't wanna hear about players honoring their contract if players can sign said contract to be with a certain team in a certain location & then get traded months later. If teams can sign players & change their mind, players can sign to a team & change their minds

Getting traded isn't breaching a contract. What's the parallel here?

Blake Griffin...DeMar Derozan...and whoever else has been made to be a "victim" of "unloyal" franchises...are still getting every ******* red cent of the deals they signed. Those contracts are being honored. And unless you ask for and are granted a NO TRADE CLAUSE... that means that contractually you UNDERSTAND THAT YOU CAN BE TRADED.

I have. I kinda let some stuff slide because I don't really know the Cavs staff so maybe he telling the truth. But you can't post a badge because of personal info (none of the people I know that work at the Q have this issue), you cussed out a player AT A PLAYOFF GAME and weren't reprimanded (I'm about 1000% sure Dan isn't that unethical but that's an easy call to verify), he spelled Dru's name wrong, and then you claimed Bron ran home to save a marriage when he didn't even propose until 2011 and I know for an absolute fact that is NOT the whole reason. Dude must have went to Lake or some weak school that Bron s*** on and he's jealous.
