Dudes just reaching . Pelicans can't have it both ways. Can't say you're not gonna move him but then you want the security that a basketball player won't get hurt playing basketball. Guys are requesting trades every year. I guess it's cool to set a precedent of benching players because they're not satisfied with the direction of the franchise
This.

And it has nothing to do with the Lakers. Seems like they declined other packages as well. I'd like to see it come in full circle this summer.

Rich Paul out there rocking Gucci

Just like Lakers basketball

Yea sure

.every year we complain about how garbage it is and every year we end up watching because everybody else does.

Watching on TV is one thing, but going to the game, I'm sure the atmosphere will be amazing.

In person will be different but idk even the gawd kobe was in his last years it boring...that's just me

I enjoy the MLB all star weekend. Plus with next year being here in Chicago people are hyping it up more

I also think they should experiment with things either in the Rookie game or the AS game. Put a 4 point line at the very least

I get ALL that but getting paid millions monthly to play basketball means make it happen, give the money back, or just admit you’ll stand there and do nothing. This fake injury bs is obvious and ***** made

I haven’t watched the actual All-Star Game in its entirety in at least 3 years. Still watch All-Star Saturday Night, but usually on DVR with a lot of fast-forwarding.

But,yeah, actually going to ASW would be a whole different thing.

All I'm saying is anything negative that may happen is squarely on the pelicans for not trading him. They assumed a number of risks by doing that and can only blame themselves

Lol at bron not working as hard as Kobe in the offseason. Now that’s funny.

You think he works as ‘hard’ as bean??

By all accounts Kobe was the David Goggins of the NBA... In the gym at 5am, 6hr workouts, gotta hit a billion jumpers etc.

Taking care of your body and working ‘hard’ are different things imo.

I think Bron works smart and has been the best at taking care of his body.

A lot of which is prehab, rest, relaxation and drinking wine on the gram.

damn, Lonzo trashed T-Pain. wish he has the same killer instinct on the court

This is probably one of the singular greatest games we've ever seen in terms of talent and competitiveness. I still remember how hyped I felt about it going in. Steve Snapper Jones even got on the call with Joel Meyers

I wish it could have taken place in the current NT era. The takes

Looking at the range Kobe was shooting from. :smh:. Guys must be forgetting how good he was.

Watching that game I think it was around this point where LeBron changed his approach towards the game. He was still happy and enjoying the moment, but the years started going by with no ring. Realized I will be judged by my rings, I need to get them no matter what.

To be fair lebron was only 22. His game was definitely evolving naturally

So AD is pissed, The team is pissed, The coach is pissed, & the fans are pissed..... all of this so you could get offered a package of Jaylen Brown & Narcus Smart in the offseason.... Well done Pels, Well Done :lol:
Not the Pels fault. A player doesn't want to honor his contract, and what's more, is trying to strong-arm his team to get on the team he wants so his team can't even recoup their loss properly. At this point if they can't even get the assets they want because he's saying he doesn't want to play for team x y and z might as well wait him out

Again they passed on multiple packages form multiple teams that were more than Adequate for a player on an expiring deal in a year. They turned down negotians out of spite to AD & his management, they acted off emotion instead of logic.

They were offered 5 Young Pieces, Two First rounders, And were offered the option to get rid of bad contracts. Literally everything they asked for they were offered & decided to gamble on an improbable return in the summer.

and agin i don't wanna hear about players honoring their contract if players can sign said contract to be with a certain team in a certain location & then get traded months later. If teams can sign players & change their mind, players can sign to a team & change their minds

I been quiet but this is a lie. That's not exactly what happened and you're trash for trying to expose someone's marriage when you don't REALLY know what goes on

Actually Savannah was the one who revealed this to Us Magazine.

Players sign a contract knowing that thy can get traded at any time. That's a con that they accept because of all the positives: regardless of where they end up getting traded, whether they get hurt and can't play anymore games, or if they are simply not playing up to level of expectations, they're getting paid no matter what. That's a trade off anyone in this thread would happily accept.

At many other jobs if management changes their mind about you, they can just fire you lol
