If the Lakers do get Kawhi, I think Lonzo is going to have an extremely short leash with the team. If the shooting isn't there, he's going to get moved.

I’m still not a fan of LeBron lolso far, the receipts I've seen have been somewhat tame. Very eye opening though. DamnEddieDoyers , i didnt realize your dislike for Lebron was that fierce.
Anyway, based on what i see with the roster, if nothing changes, I would not be stunned to see the Lakers creep to #2 seed. #3 at worst but I do feel like they have a great chance at #2.

I'm still trying to figure out why there's so much talk about him going to LA and factoring in the type of roster he has. Its been said several times about why he made the decision to LA. Will he eventually want to compete for a title again? Yes. But, that doesn't mean it has to be this year.
I think some Laker fans (not all) + media members need to cool it. Unless its Kawhi or another elite level player coming to play there, they will be good/very fun to watch next season. But, there's a chance they could not even make the conference finals. Let that team grow and bring in Kawhi next year, then we can talk so more.

Man this is the long con. Bron didn't do this move just to retire. He saw the potential and all the money LA has to spend. His team has a plan and knowing Kawhi wants out and wants to be in LA. The Lakers team we see two years from now might be an absolute beast. And now that the free agent fear is gone from them, cats are gonna be lining up to get in the club.
