if they bring it to the the league, they would get an independent doctor to examine kawhi. if he is cleared, then he is ****ed. they void his pay and still own his rights
and if it is shown he is is indeed injured, do the lakers risk it on someone with a severe injury? i think they still, but it's still a risk

he is better off just hot dogging it out there, but spurs could also say he is acting in a behavior detrimental to the team and try to void his contract base on that. spurs have more leverage

NBA players have had “behavior detrimental to the team” since forever , them contracts guaranteed. Kawhi can’t go out and hot dog t and spurs void his contract lol. Besides spurs have to handle this with PR in mind, if they do Kawhi dirty every player is gonna remember that

There’s going to be plenty of players in the east. Ben Simmons who should’ve been selected last year will make the team and also players like Gordon Hayward and jayson Tatum will likely make it

Dudes had like a 10 god damn series streak of losing game 1 and most of those series they were the higher ranked seeds. Same **** happens every year, they get a high seed, struggle to get by the low seed but make it out, and lose in the next round or in the ECF to lebron. You can't say a team doesnt choke when they have the 1 or 2 seed for like 4 straight years and fail to do jack **** with it.

so far, the receipts I've seen have been somewhat tame. Very eye opening though. Damn @EddieDoyers , i didnt realize your dislike for Lebron was that fierce.

Anyway, based on what i see with the roster, if nothing changes, I would not be stunned to see the Lakers creep to #2 seed. #3 at worst but I do feel like they have a great chance at #2.

They aren't good enough to get by LeBron, who had gotten out of the East for 8 straight seasons. Really all it is. Their team is significantly better now from the one that got swept by the Wizards 4 years ago. They just couldn't get by the LeBron roadblock. Nobody else could either though.

If you are going to say this stuff about the Raptors, you have to say it about every team in the West not named Golden State as well.
