what's the pitching situations looking like for the cards? how many days do people consider a pitcher pitching on full rest?

Usually 4 to 5 days. Don't think the Cards go with Lynn in game 1. Maybe Kelly. Got to take one in St Louis, cause Wainwright is going to pitch game 3. If Cards are up 2-0, with Wainwright starting game 3 we'll be seeing a lot of Yasiel Puigs vacation selfies on Instagram, real soon.
If the Cards lose game 1, I can see them rolling out Wainwright for game 2.

I believe kelly has already been announced....so kelly vs grienke/wacha vs kershaw.......need a split AT LEAST, if not both..........Dre is gonna be a major x factor...if hes a go. If hes not a go....then we need ace outings out of clay/zack.

There is no way we come back 0-2 with Kershaw and Greinke pitching out there. 1-1 at worst imo. Also I'm pretty sure we beat them when they had wainwright pitching twice this year didn't we?

yadi molina didnt play. Hanram didnt play. Shelby exited early and we saw westbrook a day early...etc....
in this series....no allen craig(probably)...but matt adams has been crushing. And hanram is back in. I think dre may return tomorrow depending on how he says he feels today after yesturdays workout. Based on the way the pitching lines up...........Im cautiously optomistic.

This is the type of series where I don't think home field will matter. Even if the boys come back with a split, it'll be Ryu vs. Wainwright in Game 3 more than likely. This team has also shown to not play well offensively when Greinke and Kershaw on the mound, somewhat resting their laurels.
It's going to be a great series, both teams are going to duke it out, and you can honestly say these are the two best teams in the NL no doubt. It's no fluke that these two are where they are. So it'll be graceful in victory and defeat.
