Big ten was really good this year. Tam is not very good. I didn't realize though that karate was this good.

they said earlier in this MN game that Michigan has 10 defensive senior starters and 1 who is not a senior and thats peppers,.... and he declared for the draft already. Is that true? The entire starting defense for Mich will leave after this season?

They'll return two starters, DT Mo Hurst and LB Mike McCray.  Maybe three if CB Jeremy Clark gets a 6th year. 


Michigan does not list RSs on their roster.

And then Rashan Gary, Chase Winovich and Bryan Mone all played in the rotation too.

Pike had a horrible reputation in Greater Cincinnati since HS. Was a really good player though.

The weak spots for the D are going to be the backups on the DL, and at CB.  S and LB should be fine, but they are going to be very young at CB and at DL IRT to the rotation.  Aubrey Solomon is a must get for this class, and they're going to need guys like Kemp, Marshall, Uche, and Dwumfour to really step up next season. 

FWIW I've heard Kemp has looked good in bowl prep, and I know he's a guy they've always really liked. 

Hurst is going to get Aaron Donald comps next season

Feel like Hill is going to be a player at corner and we have Long there too, plus Clark returning. Intrigued by St Juste but he will need work on technique. Thomas seems like he's an instant impact guy.

Vilain might be an instant contributer immediately on the DL

I wouldn't be so sure.  He named Michigan his leader last month and his visit along with his mother went very well. 

Bama seems to be the main comp and they are loaded at DL, and are still going after guys like Wilson and Shelvin.

B level schools can't hang with the A level. If they want their own "lightweight" champion they can have it. Power 5 will keep our "heavyweight" champion.

There is no money to be made at the FCS level. They should be more content. Or make themselves worthy of a marquee title.

The point is that 99% them can't, which is why we should end the charade and just split the P5 and G5 up. 

Teams like UH, Boise, BYU etc., can either form their own mid-major super conference or operate as P5 indys.  Everyone else should be playing in another subdivision.
