All i see on the internet is paulie talking about mcgregor, and no one talking about canelo ggg.

The Paulie **** too shall pass.

First 24/7 for GGG/Canelo is the night of the May/McGregor fight.

My guess is they're going to gear up hard after May/Conor. Especially since there is a good chance that we don't get a great fight from the them.

Keep reading that ticket sales for May/Conor have been kind of light.

They're charging like 2 G's for upper deck (200 level) seating , wonder how many tickets they're gonna have to discount once fight night gets closer.

And speaking of Paulie, just hearing him talking about the sparring got me itching to put some bread down man. Floyd is still -550 to win, -150 for TKO and +200 for decision (!). 200% return if he gets the decision, but you could even hedge your decision bet by betting on the win too. Takes the return down a ton but at that point I feel like it's damn near guaranteed money.

That decision bet is looking mighty tempting, but you just gotta pray that Conor lasts all 12 rounds. I know an out of shape Paulie ain't Floyd, but the fact that he actually admits Conor won rounds 11 and 12 in sparring means his fitness is there at least. I just wonder how hard Floyd will actually 1. focus on the body 2. press for the TKO and/or 3. how much punishment Conor's corner is gonna let him take before they call the fight.

Anybody else thinking about getting in on this?

Where do you place the bet at?!?!?

I hear Bovada is supposed to be legit for online bets, it's not legal in some states tho so you gotta do the research on that. Can't do it in my state so I gotta hit an out of town casino.

Yeah I wanna know too.

Kind of scurred though because I think Floyd is going to go for the knockout to prove a point.

Yeah the possibility of the TKO is high enough that I wouldn't put everything on the decision bet if I'm putting down serious money. I'd hedge my bet if I was betting big. I might just throw something small on the decision win though.

How do you hedge

Hedging is just putting money down on both sides of a game for insurance.

Technically hedging would be putting money down on a Conor win as insurance, but I really think his chance of winning is slim to none, so my hedge in this case would be putting down bread on a Mayweather win at -550, on top of the original bet on Mayweather decision win at +200, just so I could avoid losing all my money if Floyd knocks him out. You'd have to put way more money on the line to hedge the bet, but at least it'd protect you if Floyd TKOs him.

So basically if I was gonna hedge I might do something like this:

$5500 on Mayweather win at -550
$1000 on Mayweather decision at +200

So $6500 total. If Mayweather wins a decision I win $3000 ($2000 from the $1000 bet on decision and $1000 from the $5500 bet on a win). If he wins by TKO though I break even (lose the $1000 that I bet on decision, but win $1000 from the $5500 bet I made on a win). If Conor wins I'm assed out, but I really don't see that happening.

Really only worth the trouble if you really think Floyd is winning by decision, but you'll get an almost 50% return if you hit, and break even as long as Conor doesn't win.

Or you can just put all your bread on a win at -550 and get your 18% no matter if it's a Floyd TKO or decision. Not as exciting as that 50% for the decision but it's something.

But man if I had stacks like that I'd put like 100k on this hedge bet . Blowing my mind that the line is this close for a dude whose never had a professional boxing match, vs the greatest boxer of this generation. Insane.

I have a hard time buying that Rigo is really 36. He's probably close to 40. So it's now or never.

floyd just selling the fight... he hasnt stopped anyone since 2011 which was a sucker punch... i expect a defensive fight to go 12 rounds via decision kinda like the berto fight

You're not saying anything about that blatant head butt.

The ref said fight after the time out, and thats exactly what floyd did.

Protect yourself at all times.

I'm not taking anything away from Floyd I'm actually a fan. But it was a cheap shot that I wouldnt be proud about that. But a win is a win
