It happens. Sometimes the cut doesn't work out as planned. It happens even to the most professional of guys if you're trying to make the limit on the dot. Shawn Porter, Mayweather, etc. There's no room for error.

He made it within the time limit so it's all good. I'd have stronger feelings if he just paid his opponent off to come in heavier.

Things happen in boxing but it's good to see he made weight on the third try. I would have been very disappointed if he missed weight and did not make it at all considering it's his first title defense.

FWIW he missed it by 2 oz's the first time, and an oz the second time.

Traveling shouldn't be a factor, again poor planning/preparation. He's hanging out with Floyd "Money" Mayweather. You mean he can't get to his destination perhaps 2/3 weeks sooner versus the week of? I've seen plenty of times before where a fighter uses that excuse after losing a fight across the pond. The ol "we got here this week, wasn't feeling good, couldn't adjust to the time difference." Then get there 2 weeks earlier instead of one. It's all excuses.
