when lebron's team goes to the finals, everybody claims that lebron single-handily did it, but when his team loses in the finals, it's because his team isn't good enough. c'mon man! maybe if lebron was better, his finals record wouldn't be 2-4.

The people who say that its all because of him are just as wrong as the people who say its all his fault.

Michael Jordan couldn't even win a title without Scottie Pippen coming to his rescue :rollin
I swear half of these LeBron haters never saw a Bulls game in the 90s
Meanwhile they worship teams like the Warriors built almost exclusively through free agent signings and non-home grown talents. Iggy saved that team last year and he wasn't even drafted by them :lol

What?

I think calling the Heat a "super team" is a crazy way of tarnishing bron's legacy and it just further shows how much people dont realizs that role players matter in the playoffs

Wade was dying, bosh was bosh, and the rest of the team was filled with old vets on their last legs or just flat out marginal NBA players.

The warriors are more of a super team than those heat teams were.
battier old vet ? ray allen old vet ? those players would still be n2 options on mediocre teams before they retire , the defence battier played and his 3pts against OKC were key to winnning them . same with allen.

norris cole / mario chalmers / haslem were good role players as well , it was joel anthony that was useless

I can't think of too many players that can bring a team a of scrubs to the finals multiply years.

exactly but these dudes wont acknowledge that this cocky as fool said all this and brought all the expectations on himself.
. he should of never opened his mouth .

we all know teams win chips.
its hard af to win chips.

dont come in boasting about how many chips you going to win and not expect people to call you out on it when you dont do what you claimed you were going to do.

When did he boast?

He said "we feel we can win multiple championships if we do things the right way." Whats wrong with saying this? There's nothing cocky about this statement. Not nearly the guarantee people have now made it out to be

Why yall never bring up that part of the interview?

Yall only bring up the "not 1, not 2" thing which he was obviously joking about.

yeah dude's tripping. miami was perfectly constructed for wade and bron.

Man what? Ray allen and shane were for sure old vets. Just because they contributed doesnt make them
Not old. You're being ridiculous calling them #2 options at that point in their careers on mediocre teams come on.

And those role players you mentioned were indeed good role players, but hardly the type of players that would make up a super team and that was the overall point

i think you are stuck on the term super as in being helllllllla individually talented. IMO most people just didn't like the fact everybody took a pay cut to chase rings.

The warriors core was built through the draft bro. Thats homegrown
Name one important player from their team not named Wardell that they actually drafted
I'll wait

Exactly.

yeah but if we are only saying that to those people, are we still wrong? i'm not gonna try to have a logical sports convo with someone who's not logical.

I'm not sure what you're asking in the first part could you clarify

my fault b. when i'm blaming (half-joking) lebron's lack of finals success on him, it's only to people who gives lebron all the credit but none of the blame.

he wasnt joking. he believed that. ive never heard any other athlete joke about how many rings they were going to win. he thought it was going to be easy. he came in the nba claiming to be "king". when you that cocky you gotta take everything that comes with it.

great player . top  10 player of all the time im not even hating at all but he was to cocky. it doesnt make him any less of a legendary player but you have to admit he brought a lot of the backlash on himself.

winning 2 chips while claiming to be "king" and saying how many rings he was going to win before hand. how can you not see that he brought this on himself? if he would just kept his mouth shut he wouldnt get all this backlash. if you cant see that , then i dont know what to tell you other then we can agree to disagree.
