umm ok great talent? come on now, last years finals he had Mozgov, Delly, TT and Jr as the starting 5. :x

And don't tell me about the pre-Heat years having great talent...come on son, the only series where we could say he "failed" was the Dallas series but that's about it.

LeBron has surpassed the hype. Sure, more championships...but dude came back to his own city to try to win them something, he could have easily stayed in Miami and competed for another chip over there where it could have been much easier.

The real question is, why wasn't he supposed to win every series? What does that tell you about him and his career in the post season?

You guys are either too easy on LeBron, or I'm just too harsh :lol

In my opinion, there was absolutely no winning with that Cavs team in his first few years. And no way in hell was anyone beating the Spurs in 2014 or the Dubs in 2015. Both of those teams went on to have historic years this seaon (despite how they're looking/looked so far this post season). Making it to the FINALS that many times isn't easy, no matter how soft the East might be. Money didn't even get out the first round until he had Pippen :lol .

I bet folks were dapping each other up when Bron got that Chosen 1 tattoo when he was younger and they were younger talking about, "Bron killed it with his tattoo, you seent it, it's Cold"
NOw that he's older and they are too, they are the same ones talking about "dude is lame for that tattoo man"
:)

Thought he was an idiot back then for, still think he is now.

Who the Hell gives themselves a nickname? :lol

Made it to the Finals 6 times. Won only 2 times with a "Super team". Basically catered his own team in Clev and Miami and still can only come up 2 championships? Oh, and let's not forget that Ray Allen caveat

It's safe to say, unless some sort of miracle happens--he's going to lose again this post season.

For someone who's supposedly the "Second Coming" or "Chosen 1" , he's certainly failed to meet expectations. He's basically the Peyton Manning/John Elway of the NBA
laugh.gif
yes he brought this on himself and hasnt lived up to it. he came in the nba claiming to be the king /chosen 1

who in the history of the league has ever said
"not three , not four , not five , not six rings "  yet when doesnt come though on that doesnt expect to get any backlash. he brought all this on himself and disrespected the game thinking it was going to be that easy for him.

Greg Oden was a disappointment. Lebron is gonna retire with titles in one of the toughest eras ever.

Sure, but given his circumstances and fortune to play with great talent. He should've won more often.

If that's not undeniable, then I'm going to have to agree to disagree with some of you guys.

Other than the Dallas series, which titles should he have won? He deserves all slander for playing trash against a very good mavs team

Exactly. 2011 he flat out choked.

07 - had no chance with that roster
2014 - He played great. Spurs were all around a better team. Last year - No chance once Kyrie went down.

Some people just look at it like "Oh Lebron lost, he sucks" w/o taking anything into context.

Much easier? You mean stay with a hobbling Wade on borrowed time? Or Chris Bosh who subsequently might've seen his last NBA game this season?

Lebron knew what was going down in Miami, and bolted the second he saw a better opportunity (not knocking him for it). Aside from those early Cleveland years, he's been surrounded by good talent since 2010.

I think calling the Heat a "super team" is a crazy way of tarnishing bron's legacy and it just further shows how much people dont realizs that role players matter in the playoffs

Wade was dying, bosh was bosh, and the rest of the team was filled with old vets on their last legs or just flat out marginal NBA players.

The warriors are more of a super team than those heat teams were.

Jordan is a disappointment for me. To only end up with 6 when you're supposed to be the greatest? Should have had 11 or 12 imo.

What are we drinking tonight? Got some Deschutes The Abyss ready for tonight.
your being sarcastic but lebrons big mouth wrote checks that he cant cash. i dont recall jordan making public speeches about being the chosen 1 or saying how many rings he was going to win before he won them. he should of just not said a word. he brought these expectations on himself.

I'd agree with you there. But Bron put himself in that situation.

This is the sentiment I was trying to express.

I'll play

Swept by a Spurs time in their prime. God knows who started for the Cavs.
Lost to the mavs. His bad. Slander away
Beat OKC
Beat the Spurs
Lost to the Spurs. Close series and a rematch. It happens. You won't slander bean for losing to the Celtics but you'll remember him beating them.
Lost to a better and healthy warriors team. Probably would have lost anyways.

Didn't feel like writing all this up but repped.

That Dallas series he deserves ALL the slander in the world and then some but every other series, I don't see how dudes thought he would win. The only other series he had a real chance to was the rematch against the Spurs.

The series last year, dude literally had NO shot, especially once Kyrie went down.

Guys it's not Bron's fault. He needs more help. Except when he wins. Then it's all thanks to him making his teammates better.

It's a team game man :lol

Do the Bulls win in '91 if Pippen doesn't switch on to Magic after Magic was abusing Jordan?

Do they even start up the 2nd 3 peat if they never replace Horace with Rodman?

Do the Lakers advance past SAC if Divac comes down with that rebound instead of tipping it to Horry & SAC goes up 3-1 with game 5 in Sacramento?

Do the Spurs beat Detroit if Sheed stays home on Horry instead of leaving him to inexplicably help on Ginobili who hadn't even begun dribbling?

I'm I Texas, I'm drinking 6 point Bottled Buds

Oklahoma we only get 3.2 so I have to have a shot of SoCoand Lime with every beer.

Y'all dudes STILL making stuff up holding onto this narrative huh?

For the 50th time, he got that tattoo from the story Sports Illustrated did on him. I have no clue what Lebron hater made up this story of him giving himself the name "chosen 1" but he's pretty good cause he has all you lil dudes running with it.

The real question is why we think the best individual is supposed to win the championship every year instead of the best team. Sometimes I wish the Knicks or Pacers or whoever were able to get their **** together enough to beat the Bulls in a couple of those series, so people wouldn't have this misguided idea that basketball = golf or tennis.

I'll forever remember Bron as the guy that brought two titles to the Heat with the decaying corpses of Wade and Bosh and will most likely bring two or three or four maybe five titles back to the land with unproven prospects like Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving

Michael Jordan couldn't even win a title without Scottie Pippen coming to his rescue :rollin
I swear half of these LeBron haters never saw a Bulls game in the 90s
Meanwhile they worship teams like the Warriors built almost exclusively through free agent signings and non-home grown talents. Iggy saved that team last year and he wasn't even drafted by them :lol

The warriors core was built through the draft bro. Thats homegrown

exactly but these dudes wont acknowledge that this cocky as fool said all this and brought all the expectations on himself.

. he should of never opened his mouth .

we all know teams win chips.

its hard af to win chips.

dont come in boasting about how many chips you going to win and not expect people to call you out on it when you dont do what you claimed you were going to do.

Pretty much.

This is why its crazy to demote any player, not just lebron simply for rings, or lack thereof
