According to Berger, they did it, in part, because Blatt lost control of the team. LeBron James routinely seized control from Blatt during team huddles and undermined his authority. Berger spoke with one Cavaliers source who told him that Cleveland was a “fractured team” towards the end of Blatt’s tenure. But that all ended when Lue stepped in and immediately changed the culture of the team. He did it by implementing a new game plan and using Kevin Love more effectively. He also did it calling LeBron out during film studies and practices. And according to someone who spoke with Berger, he also got into the habit of telling LeBron to **** in team huddles:

you used the word entirely wrong since were being literal now. They are different, but if he beat the West 2 x then how is playing in the east a knock on his career?

Because of his finals record in totality and the relative competitiveness of the rest of the conference. It's akin to what Magic went thru in the 80s but he also won 5 of his 9 appearances and he also beat some all time great teams in that run. It's a knock in the same way Wilt gets knocked for losing to Russell even though he has 2 chips or Jerry West for his 7 Finals losses.

Shots been trolling with the ayo stuff for a minute now. He's the new Bravelude.

I see no way the Thunder go up 2-0 tonight.

And I'm basing that mostly on Durant than anyone else out there. The basketball fan in me WISHES he would look at tonight like "Man if give these dudes that WORK tonight, we're up 2-0 coming back home! LET'S GOOOO!!!", but the realist in me realizes he's like, "Yaaaay. Up 1-0, so worst case scenario, we go back home tied 1-1. Boy, we sure shocked the world Monday night. High five, team. :) Y'all the real MVP."

Dubs by... 13. They were up 12 almost every time I looked the other night, so I think they maintain that tonight and actually keep it that way all the way through, no 19-point 3rd-quarter outbursts from Beastbrook.

I really really really want OKC to win tonight, but don't think it'll happen.
