Because of his finals record in totality and the relative competitiveness of the rest of the conference. It's akin to what Magic went thru in the 80s but he also won 5 of his 9 appearances and he also beat some all time great teams in that run. It's a knock in the same way Wilt gets knocked for losing to Russell even though he has 2 chips or Jerry West for his 7 Finals losses.

I see no way the Thunder go up 2-0 tonight.

And I'm basing that mostly on Durant than anyone else out there. The basketball fan in me WISHES he would look at tonight like "Man if give these dudes that WORK tonight, we're up 2-0 coming back home! LET'S GOOOO!!!", but the realist in me realizes he's like, "Yaaaay. Up 1-0, so worst case scenario, we go back home tied 1-1. Boy, we sure shocked the world Monday night. High five, team. Dubs by... 13. They were up 12 almost every time I looked the other night, so I think they maintain that tonight and actually keep it that way all the way through, no 19-point 3rd-quarter outbursts from Beastbrook.
