its just impossible to get all the calls right. whats warrants a replay throughout the course of a game, a coaches request? if its another ref, what if he makes a mistake or doesn't replay a subjectively questionable call?

the last 2 minutes already get bogged down when there are multiple reviews. replay central in NJ has not sped up the review process at all.
throughout the whole game without messing up the flow i understand that. im talking about at crucial moments of the game. id rather have them get it right and slow it  down at crucial moments of the game then say sorry the next day. sorrys mean nothing.

Every possession is crucial though, this isn't something new in the NBA. You've always been able to get away with more stuff at the end of games.

The product is suffering as is with the pathetic officiating, though.  NBA refs are easily the worst officials in all of sports.

Says who? The NBA is flourishing right now. Thunder / Warriors ratings are through the roof. Last year's finals was box office. Kd russ steph etc etc The NBA is doing fine

irrelevant. Nba can be better without the sorry calls. Why are they looking into the hack a whoever if the league is flourishing. There can always be improvements.getting call right would hurt the game. Lol . That logic is backwards.

It's pretty obvious WHY Silver does the report...Tim Donaghy. He's been all about transparency from the start. I will however admit, that it doesn't really benefit anything right now, but it does put these officials on blast so that may help to actually have them do their job better.
That, and Silver has publicly stated his intentions about the NBA and gambling/DFS. If referees tried to affect the scoring margins... well, you get the picture.

Meh,

You're being anal about nothing. Calls will be made. Calls will be missed. To try and be critical of every missed call takes the fun out of the game. Calls arent winning and losing games.

Why is Stephen A talking about LeBron leaving Cleveland if they win the championship....he's making lebron sound like a mercenary for hire or something.

this has been my thought all along

if the cavs win a title he has accomplished what he came to do and is free to go where he please

the fans wont care because he will forever be known as the man who broke the cleveland curse

which is kinda why i want to see lebron and the cavs win.

would make things real interesting in the offseason

if he does leave i think he goes west because we all know what the knock is on lebron

At this point, where else would he need to go?

Miami was college years for him.

Coming back to Cleveland was him coming home and getting a real job. First year he hated how the real world was, but this is year two and hes getting used to it.

If he gets his third ring then why would "The West" be a valid criticism?

Who does he beat to get those rings?

what has been the knock on his career all this time?

THE WEST!
LOL if you beat the best of the West in the finals, what would he need to prove?

2012 OKC was the best team in the west

2013 Spurs was the best team in the west.

What more do you want?  Yall never happy. Accept it, We had the Bird/Magic Era, MJ Era, Shaq/Kobe/AI era, and we've been in the LBJ era since 2009.

That knock of him being in the east is just made up bs! Hows it his fault the east teams have bad records? Not like he can get a chip without beating the best of the west.
