I'm almost positive that particular word given the global history of the slave trade (NZ being heavily British influenced) hasn't deviated from a negative to a positive when taking about people of color. Like Bomani said they've been calling is monkeys across the globe since the beginning of recorded history.

not to change the subject, but with that missed travel...i wanted to ask if there is a push to add more replay reviews in the NBA? similiar to what they've done in other sports in the last couple years. i know they review fouls and maybe OOB calls...but what about something like that?

The fact that it happened. It's a story being reported. I see ppl in here commenting on the story. I don't see this "faux outrage" and "sensitivity" that keeps being thrown out there.
