Phil Jackson, asked if he wants Melo back, says Melo is a player who might be better off chasing a championship elsewhere
Melo x Clippers whoop

Melo may want to stay though.
Phil Jackson on Carmelo Anthony today: "We have not able to win with him on the court. He would be a player better off somewhere else."

Phil done did everything in his power besides calling him a ***** to trigger him to waive that NTC.

Idk how Melo would even want to stay after this.

I remember it like it was yesterday when folks jumped for joy when Carmelo was traded there, then again when Phil took the job

All melo needs is Phil to keep signing them checks

Melo gonna set that club back a few years like Kobe did the Lakers

We haven't been able to win with the triangle offense either, maybe that offense would be better off someplace else...FP

He had a response to this as well:

Jax on why Triangle hasn’t worked: “We faced resistance. We faced it from the top.” [emoji]128165[/emoji]

Phil spitting his 'Control' verse today.

What if Carmelo wants to stay? Jackson says he told him: "We have't won here. You don’t want to end your career" w' a label as a non-winner

But Melo has been to the playoffs as a Knick and the triangle has yet to break .500 as part of the offense.

Eh it's too late. He's become a sympathetic figure but he also looks weak for not standing up for himself more.

No Chill Phil. As a coach, one of the greats. Sucks as a GM or whatever his role is.

Didn't the Knicks just pick up Melo's option though??

Triangle aint beating no one in today's game.

What's he supposed to say?

He's taking the high road while our 70 year old president has an ego that's way too big for someone whose had absolutely no success as an executive.
