Official 2015 NFL Draft Thread

I think Mariota has a chance to be good, but he's not ready day one.

If you play him day one, I think you're setting him up for failur.

I can see Lovie doing that too but it seems like many people in the know are saying Jameis is staying in school.

Might be his dumbest decision yet :lol

By the way, there are *zero* QBs coming out this year that were as good or pro ready as Teddy was.

Scouts deserve all the egg-on-the-face they're getting for their 'evaluations' of him. :{ Perfect example of why on the field production/game tape is way more valuable than combine measurements + pro days.

Is this based on all QB's who have declared/announced they were coming out, or all draft eligible QB's?

Just think how dumb Jameis would be to stay in school.

Unless he gets in trouble between now and the draft he's going to go in the top 5 at the least, and sources have said how impressed Lovie is with him so he could even still go #1.

He goes back to school and loses his top two receiving targets, and if he gets in trouble again his *** might just get kicked out of there.

Just another example on a long list.

However, I can't ever really be mad at someone who wants to stay in school. In the end, it may prove more valuable for him.

really?

who has staying in school actually worked out for?

I'm not being facetious, I'm genuinely curious

go get paid and return to school later

the value is in setting yourself up for life

The dude could easily finish up with online classes one summer and still say he got his degree....while already making millions.

I can't think of a single person that staying in school worked out for that was in a position that Jameis is in.

Matt Barkley is rolling over in his grave

Heath Shuler? Don't know if he even graduated, but I have no idea what these athletes do when they get ran out of the league or retire (if they're not an analyst).

You can't tell me a college degree doesn't have a lot of potential to be very beneficial for athletes who end up going threw millions and being broke soon after retirement or after they're ousted from the league.

They say DGB is entering. He has all the talent, but also hits about every Off the field issue with getting caught with weed, Domestic violence etc. Still would take him tho

All of them. There could end up being a diamond in the rough, but of the "big names"... none of them hold a candle to Theodore.

Shaq is versatile and a playmaker on the defensive side. Most teams could use a guy like him, but I Miami does seem like the perfect fit. Solid defense already, he'd be free to roam and make plays.
You draft him as an OLB or SS?
