Official 2010 San Francisco Giants Season Thread (92-70) NL West Division Champions!

Oh yeah, he was also tearing apart that Phillies offense.

I will put some blame on that horrible offense though. 17 hits compared to Phillies' eight and you still lose six to seven? I mean, really?
You can't blame the offense in this series because they were pretty decent.  I mean 17 hits

, I don't think they'll get that many hits this season.  The decision to take out Lincecum after one walk in the ninth was plain idiotic.  Bochy talking about saving his arm and crap like that, but if you're going to do that, then shouldn't you go by the 120 pitch count or something and then take him out.

I know the Giants rave about Ishikawa's glove work, but is Huff really that bad with the glove that he has to get replaced every game for Ishikawa? It turned out that the 4th spot in the lineup came up at crucial parts of the game (twice last game if I'm not mistaken) and we had to depend on Ishikawa for big hits. And as expected, Ishikawa failed.

Maybe I just hate Ishikawa, but whatever...

LazyJ, love those PNC pictures. It's one of my favorite parks and I'd love to see it one day.

Dogs are appreciated.

We have better ones my wife took with our digital SLR, so I'll get those on here one of these days.

My in-laws went to the new Busch Stadium last summer, actually for a Giants game, and it was great too they said. Did my thing and sat in a bunch of different seats.

Let's see -

I've seen:

Boston (game)
Toronto Sky Dome (tour, no game)
New Comisky (games)
Wrigley (games)
Miller Field (game)
PNC Park (game)
Mile High (briefly, configured for the Rockies)
Pro Player (configured for both, no game)
Kingdome (walk around tour)
Candlestick/Pac Bell
Oakland Coliseum

Still got a lot of ground to cover

I like that you can see the skyline above the outfield.

The Rockies are going to crush Zito tonight.

I want to see:

Busch
Coors
SafeCo
Tiger Stadium
The Jake
Where the hell do the Reds play now? That looks like a great stadium too.

Sucks to have to go to Detroit though and I really want no part of Ohio again.

ehhh, it was the first game the bullpen and defense blew for us all year, they were due for it....

but the giants need to start playing better against the nl west, if we want to think about winning this division we need to beat teams in the division...

Renteria's error against Pittsburgh that gave them the lead in the 8th inning? Manny's bomb off Romo that gave the Dodgers the 2-1 lead?

Totally forgot about that one, great call, same here...Since the O's have been lifeless/nonexistent, easy to miss.

See that's what's hilarious about the White Sox.  The White Sox got one of the worst "new generation" (at the time ballparks) when the "cookie cutter" stadiums went out. The New Comisky opened in 1991.  For comparison:

- Camden Yards: 1992
- Arlington: 1994
- The Jake: 1994
- Coors field: 1995

So, the Sox, basically, were a bit too early to the party.  Camden had am impact in so many other stadiums being built. The Sox have had something like 7+ renovations too, trying to get past the ugly/generic.

EY Jr makes Fred Lewis look like a gold glover.

Dude takes the worst routes, dives when he doesn't have to and then gets up feeling himself like he just made a Web Gem.
