melo would be dumb to go to the nets... i agree there are better assets out there in other teams besides the knicks... this includes the nets.... but without brook and devin the nets are stripped and are even more garbage than a 12 win team...i hope melo goes to the knicks but if he doesnt i hope its not the nets because that would be dumb... and if he went to houston that would be the same team as the nuggets... i could see the clippers a good second option if it werent the knicks being his first option

I hope the signing of Landry Fields means we're moving some pieces for Melo..
I wouldnt think it matters who are rumored, its based on where Melo wants to go... Isn't the plan for him to play with Amare.. ?

if randolph and gallo were on houston or the clippers teams would be slobbering over them. i'm sick of this crap. melo won't be a knick
the new gm doesn't want to lose on his first major move. if he trades melo to the knicks he will be perceived as the loser. media and writers will jump on him, screaming that the knicks had nothing

He's only an idiot if he stays on said team, which is all dependant on Denver executing a S&T. Maybe he really just wants out of Denver for next season and is willing to just play a season anywhere and sign where he wants to next year. Aside from draft picks who do the Clippers have to offer? Same with the Nets. The nuggets will never get market value for Melo because then the team that trades for him will be gutted and then left without Melo after this one season.
