, but its plain and simple.

Being that they are a terrible road team, they won't magically become at least an average road team over night. Now, if they had more home games left it would probably be a different story. I see them coming very close to 40 games this season though.

Hell, we were like 26-23 around this time last season IN A PLAYOFF SPOT and people still didn't believe we would make it.

This should tell you a lot.
I know where you trying to go, but I'm going in another direction.
It's telling me the Clippers have no chance in hell.

An Iguodala for Aminu/Kaman trade makes so much sense for both the Sixers and Clippers.
Bdiddy

Gordon

Iggy

Blake

Jordan

eek.gif
..........With Denver and maybe Portland having major 2nd half dropoffs, that team might make the playoffs THIS year. They'd also have by far the most explosive starting 5 in the L. ++$+ they might have the whole top 10 on Sportscenter locked down some nights.

Jrue

Meeks

Thad Young

Brand

Kaman

The Sixers are already a playoff team in the East, but if they got a legit center like Kaman down low who knows what could happen in the first round. You're pairing a front court with two former All-Stars that have played together before. I think once Philly finally lets go of Iggy that Thad is going to really break out. Lou-Turner-Aminu-Speights-Hawes would be a good bench too.

That trade sucks for the 76ers.

Clippers get a legit star wing while the Sixers get an oft-injured Center and a mid-level prospect at best.

 They won't.
And Marc isn't going anywhere. Heisley loves Marc as much as he loves Rudy. I honestly don't see Zbo going anywhere either. The only odd man out right now is OJ IMO. Heisley continually says he will keep the guys together. Our frontline is what makes us a good team. I have no problem keeping the frontline together as long as we 1 or 2 guys on the bench that we can mix and match with Zbo and Marc.

I still like Arthur backing up Zbo, but we need a guy there that's going to do what Thabeet suppose to be doing.

If the Grizz don't make the playoffs this year, I don't see why you would want the management to stick with these guys long term. I know you aren't a fan of the coach tho. And Mayo is still "cheap" right now. Re-signing Randolph and Gasol is going to hurt.

“Dallas will always be my home, and it still is,’’ Josh tells me moments after he sat out injured while his Washington team lost. “I still live here. I’m going to always live here.’’

Quote from Josh Howard.

I believe he's an UFA this upcoming off-season. I wouldn't mind picking him up cheap, and using him as a wing off the bench.

Only if Caron doesn't re-sign, which I am really unsure of. He really likes Dallas, but I'm sure he can get money anywhere he wants, and will be sought after.

Gasol won't hurt us. Zbo may or may not hurt us depending on how many years we give him. If we give him a 3 yr deal, it won't be bad.
I don't want to keep the ENTIRE team together. But, I've come to find out that our front line is the reason we win most of our games. Sometimes Zbo can revert back his old self, but that's mostly the coach fault for feeding him so many possessions. You notice how that changes, the team is starting to win now? Its hard to just give up on Zach's productivity. I still want a veteran PG in the backcourt, but I don't see it happening.

OJ's situation isn't any better than Beasley's last season. We misuse him and keeping him on the team won't do us any good because he really doesn't make a difference out there on the court anymore. That's part OJ fault and part Hollins fault. People barely realizes he's not playing. I know when he leaves he will play a lot better, but its not much you can do about that as long as our coach is Hollins.

The team is a legit shooter or two and another versatile big man that can split minutes between Marc and Zbo from being very good. Teams won't be able to stop us in a 2-3 zone anymore because we will have shooters and teams with length won't be able to use that to their advantage because we will have more athleticism and length ourselves. Those are our weakest spots.

EXACTLY.

Frankly, I don't think ANY Spur has been putting up "all-star" numbers this season.

Thatwould be a cool idea for society. Speeding tickets for dudes likeBarkley or Charlie Sheen compared to the average Joe would be good tohelp put extra money for local funding or some %###.

I'm serious too.

But your idea for the NBA is definitely a good one.

I've liked Deandre Jordan for a few years now.  That kid has some talent.  Hope he stays with Blake and Gordon and they turn that franchise around.

JA, you are correct.  People was writin off the Celts all year last year, and I said no damn way they were done.  And they are even better this year.  That roster is a pain in the @#$.  They get JO, West back, and find a way to coax Sheed back just to hand out towels,

- Clippers haven't figured out how to win a road game all year and they have a ton of them coming up. Please stop talking about them grabbing that 8th seed.
- DBD, I wasn't saying Manu is the MVP. I'm saying that if they go 7-2 or 8-1 on the rodeo he'll get more CONSIDERATION for the award than he is now because right now he isn't getting any.
- Pacers have a ton of money coming off the books this year, they could potentially make a splash.
