West jerseys are ugly as sin because of the red and gold but East look real good.

Getting benched, fight with Tony Allen, now steroids...

Well yes, ideally All-Star status should be based on performance. Unfortunately since the NBA has allowed the fans to pick the starters, and inevitably there will be 10 players voted in based primarily on popularity (ie, Iverson, T-Mac, Carter, Yao>Shaq, MJ in 02). And thus, voting for the All Star Game has in fact become a popularity contest. This is also how Yao became an All Star. And he probably will be for the foreseeable..... My initial insult thrown at you was mainly because it seemed like you had no idea that the starting line up is determined by fans. So having undeserving players starting isn't at all something out of the ordinary.Originally Posted by MrDozo

Yao Ming played 5 games this whole season. How did he become an all-star? much less, a starter. this makes no damn sense. meanwhile Kevin Love isnt? so stupid sometimes.
this is an all star game, not a popularity contest, you should be elected an all star based on your performance numbers, not how well known you are.right back at ya
