I'm a Knick fan to the heart but I gotta keep it 100. Melo gets slandered because the Knicks suck and haven't made the playoffs in 3 seasons. Its simple imo... Even though his supporting cast was lacking.

Anthony davis is still young idk if that was the best example. If he stays there for 5 more years and never makes anything happen they will come for him too. He gets praise for being a great young talent at his position but once he is old and there is new great young talent they will come for that unibrow quick.

Obviously the Pelicans aren't the Knicks. But both teams suck. So they have that in common. Not sure why a player that they call top 3 in today's NBA doesn't get held to the same standard, but alright.

Because realistically let's face it. He is called a top 3 player in the league because of his Skill and YOUTH. Same reason Melo was regarded as such back in the day with the nuggets . That can only hold up for so long which is what he's saying.

AD is top 3? I had no idea. One thing to note is that the pelicans always sucked but the Knicks have regressed to sucking after 2 seasons of improvement. (edit NO also improved from 2012-2015 but went back to sucking last year. I had to research AD being top 3 in the league)
