I'm a Knick fan to the heart but I gotta keep it 100. Melo gets slandered because the Knicks suck and haven't made the playoffs in 3 seasons. Its simple imo... Even though his supporting cast was lacking.Melo is not a phony and funny style type dude. Unfortunately majority of cats aren't like that so they hate and can't get behind it. Add that he plays in NYC then u have a recipe for disaster. When son was in Denver he was top 5 and didn't get nearly as much slander as he gets today then he became a Knick and all hell broke loose
so what you're saying is . If Melo gets on the Cover of 2k17 all is forgiven [emoji]129300[/emoji]?Pelicans are awful, yet Anthony Davis gets praised frequently.
I dont think AD gets held to the same standard as Melo and the Pelicans ain't the Knicks..Pelicans are awful, yet Anthony Davis gets praised frequently.
I agree.Anthony davis is still young idk if that was the best example. If he stays there for 5 more years and never makes anything happen they will come for him too. He gets praise for being a great young talent at his position but once he is old and there is new great young talent they will come for that unibrow quick.
Melo will get TONS of open look from Rose's drives. Book it.
Would it be fair to say LBJ is the best player in the NBA and that Uncle Melo is the best player in the world?
Obviously the Pelicans aren't the Knicks. But both teams suck. So they have that in common. Not sure why a player that they call top 3 in today's NBA doesn't get held to the same standard, but alright.I dont think AD gets held to the same standard as Melo and the Pelicans ain't the Knicks..Pelicans are awful, yet Anthony Davis gets praised frequently.
My point is that he's still regarded as a top 3 player in the entire league even w/ his team not being good. I wasn't referring to ppl calling him a great young player.Anthony davis is still young idk if that was the best example. Because realistically let's face it. He is called a top 3 player in the league because of his Skill and YOUTH. Same reason Melo was regarded as such back in the day with the nuggets . That can only hold up for so long which is what he's saying. My point is that he's still regarded as a top 3 player in the entire league even w/ his team not being good. AD is top 3? I had no idea. One thing to note is that the pelicans always sucked but the Knicks have regressed to sucking after 2 seasons of improvement. (edit NO also improved from 2012-2015 but went back to sucking last year. I had to research AD being top 3 in the league)Obviously the Pelicans aren't the Knicks. But both teams suck.
