This is all of course only if Mark Jackson turns down the job, because his resume of zero coaching experience is exactly what we need, fresh blood!
Somehow we need to try and hire Bruce Bowen, Anthony Mason & Charles Oakley as assistant coaches to teach defense to these guys. Try and trade Chauncey Billups for Raja Bell so he can be our floor general on defense. Can't trade Landry. He is our rookie sensation who has the ceiling of Stacy Augmon. You need that glue guy who does everything well!!
Ha!

Some of your ideas are actually intriguing:

- I like the idea of Phil coming to rescue his beloved Knicks. That would be the ultimate feather in his cap to replace his nemesis D'amnphony and lead NY to a chip.

- Mark Jackson as head coach AND Hubie as Jackson's head assistant would also actually be a good idea imo.

- Oak is already an assistant w/the Bobcats. But Bowen would probably make a good assistant too. Mase is way too out of shape.

Walsh and D'antoni engaged in a spirited -in a good way- conversation by Garden court following the knicks walk through

This is a fairytale though. doubt Phil comes to work for Dolan.

You can't be serious

You're basically hiring Hubie to be coach and get paid assistant money while Mark gets the credit for his stupid little sayings and catch phrases he repeated as a commentator.

I might really take a hiatus from Knicks basketball if Mark Jackson becomes this teams head coach.

I could see Bowen actually taking the job if offered but that aint helping the frontcourt on being better post defenders. I could see him transforming a guy like Landry in to a better perimeter defender though.

Everyone chill with rooting not to make the playoffs. Like mentioned above, the ultimate barometer will be how we show up in that first round and if we give a Boston or Miami a run for their money.

Won't be shocked if we win tonight. Mildly surprised though.

I gotta talk dudes into watching Celtics-Knicks instead of playing the Crysis 2 Demo? ... in 2011? With STAT and Melo?

*Spins some Sam Cooke to reminisce*

Real talk STAT should get the most touches from the start so later in the game people will have room.

I can't believe people wanna trade him after 1 season

Landry being aggressive tonight, along with Turiaf.

Shawne is showing a bit more confidence handling the ball lately as well.
