I really don't see egos clashing. Especially between Melo and Amar'e. Outside of maybe Billups nobody else on that team should have one. Sucks because that also shows how one of those 3 will have to be the defensive leader and lead by example.

It has been in my mind that Billups might not give as much of a %$%* as the other 2 stars of the big 3 do. Like if he's playing bad and he thinks the team is gonna lose it's w/e cuz in the back of his head he's thinking he's not gonna be here for long. With Melo I'm thinking he wouldn't mind if a couple players on this team weren't here next season like TD. I get the feeling he wanted Gallo gone in that trade. Might be nothing but I remember in a game earlier this season after it was over Melo tried to give Gallo a pound and Gallo kept walking. So I think Melo really wants a fresh start with new (better) teammates and he's just throwing out that teammates play your game rhetoric out there just for now.

Game wise I think on the low Amar'e is on auto pilot and thinks we're a lock for the playoffs and simply doesn't care who we play in the playoffs and just wants to get there already. Feel that tech limit being on his mind is affecting him in some way.

Mike Dantoni has turne Carmelo Anthony into Gallanari in a span of 14 games. All I see is melo floating around the perimeter and camped up in the corner. He doesn't get a chance to initiate any offense. He's getting far less shots. It's a serious problem.

Got Boston, Orlando, and Milwaukee coming up. It's going to get alot worse before it gets better.

Coach is trash. team is bad. Assets gone. @%+! is just not looking to bright at the moment.

What do you guys think about us drafting Derrick Williams out of Arizona? I love his game, his rebounding skills and offensive game in the post is exactly what we need

to really do something special we need a new coach, a point guard after next year, a sixth man, a center and a back up center. Plus we will have to re sign Fields and Douglas and a few more role players

I just don't financially see how it happens

the thing that annoys me with this team is we rely on the 3 point ball and if thats not going in its pretty much guaranteed L... and nobody to blame but dantoni himself... i could see why the chemistry is not consistent since the trade... melo is either being used the wrong way by shooting too many 3s or melo is being blamed for playing his game by posting up and not getting anyone else involved...its really a lose lose situation with melo because of the lack of gameplan as a whole... you can blame melo but you can also blame dantoni for not adjusting this team with their new pieces... chauncey is now shooting more 3s than before and tony is doing this also...i don't want to sound like a broken record but we need to play more defense... its that simple... in order to win games moving forward we need to change our mentality...and like others here have said before what happen to our pick and roll? i feel that chauncey, melo and amare can make use of this play if they actually ran it on the regular...i still like this trade with melo and amare as our core but i think we need a new coach eventually to use them better

He's probably Top 5 so there's no chance of that happening. I wouldn't mind getting Rick Jackson depending on where we're picking.

I remember last time we played the celtics.  We were rolling, Amare had mvp and chants and even though we lost it was a good #%% game.  Pierce did some ho %#$!, and i was like "oh we got these dudes next time.  We aint got %#$!.

Hey man if it's true we look down on below .500 non-playoff teams and only bring our A game to good teams it'll be a very competitive game against the Celts. We might even play defense for 2 quarters straight (hopefully the 3rd and 4th).

Nobody on that team will be able to handle both Amar'e and Melo so I expect 30pt games from both unless foul trouble is an issue.

Real talk...and this is not just because of the recent losses to sub-par teams...but I would not mind seeing the Knicks miss the playoffs. I think that is the ONLY way Mike 'Antoni is going to be fired in the offseason. Otherwise, even after a 4 game sweep in the first round, he is going to get another shot next year, and simply put, that is an UTTER waste of time.

Wow yall dudes are really hateful/spiteful. I mentioned that a few pages back thinking nobody would sink that low. You're on your own.

I don't know what type of Knicks fan is thinking like that. Miss the playoffs now in hopes that Pringles gets fired just so you can hire any other coach out there. After this past decade of losing you'd deprive us of postseason play in NYC? Gonna tell us wait one more season? So we can watch this team take time to play under w/e the new coach's system is so we can hear more excuses about needing time and w/e else comes with having a new coach that year.

I personally don't get mad at bulls and heat fans talking !+##. we deserve it. I have no problem with you guys trash talking us we are rivals it's supposed to be like that. I saw a kid wearing a Dwayne Wade jersey yesterday and started hurling insults.

btw you guys had an entire summer to practice and still started out 9-8. we have had 2 practices. Plus our coach is waaaaaay worse than yours so at least I can hope it's mostly his fault. Just happ melo didn't claim 7 rungs and have a fireworks show
