Let the record show that I have given props to Greg Oden twice in the past week in this very thread.

-rudy is obviously playing to get a max contract, so hes trying to pad his stats
-doughboy is 20-10 like usual, but that doesnt equate to wins
-your bench is utter garbage
-mike conley is only starting because he is sadly the best pg on the team
-your #2 overall pick, has absolutely no speed, no offensive skill, he looks like snail when he runs the floor
-and when oj mayo gets the chance, hes probably going to leave memphis

MEMPHIS=TRASH ... your star player will prolly bolt ASAP, your draft pick sucks, your pg sucks, what you guys did to AI sucks, you guys SUCK,are TRASH...

-you guys are fun to use in nba 2k10 though....

you just basically pointed out all the things i said. conley shouldn't be starting, thabeet sucks, and the bench sucks. i guess saying things need to befixed and the team should make adjustments is spinning things around for my team.

That dunk by Wade was evil. I'd be mad as hell too if I was AV.

Mo been on it the last couple games, you know how he loves that regular season.
But I better not see no Mo is All Star type @#$% this year. If he worms his way in again this year, the NBA should think about folding the league.

Earl Clark looks like he has a nice game out there in Phoenix. They should get a lot of blowouts vs crap teams, he could get some nice minutes this season,work hard over the summer, and make a big leap next year.

I mentioned this in another thread, but few weeks back I mentioned that the Lakers would be down right dangerous on the block because they can send anywherefrom 5-6 guys down there. Bynum, Gasol, Odom, Artest, Kobe, and even Fisher can post up guys like Nash or A Brooks and the like. Sure enough, last night Isee D Fish on the block and I couldn't help but laugh, the Suns can't even get their starting center or power forward on the block, and we'resendin our little point guard down there.

But yeah, all that 3 point shooting and pick and rolls should work out nicelyin the postseason.........while we shoot 10 footers all night.

JJ Hickson could put up some numbers with time. Certainly gonna get left alone a lot with Bron and Shaq on the court at once, he could clean up out there. He's got more game then Anderson ever will.

Might catch a glimpse if the Hawks are truly for real this season, and of course, Nuggets v Lakers will be a damn war. There was bad blood in the lastpreseason game, see if that comes back tonight. I sure hope so. The league needs more hatred.

let me chime in on the memphis thing:


Lionel Hollins is not the guy for that job. His sets seem to be real stagnant and depend on a lot of isolations,which as we saw against the clippers,and thekings, doesn't work during crunch time. The bench is terrible again this year, and every time the grizzlies go to the bench its always a bad thing. Nothinggood ever comes out of the grizzlies bench and its frustrating. There were some games this year where they have shown that they can put up points, but theycannot defend anybody. They are absolutely terrible on that end of the floor. Besides that, once again I see the crisis between rudy and OJ. No bias, but fromwhat I see, the grizzlies are far more competitive when OJ is the main guy, who is having the most fga's,not rudy gay.(See the game against Denver)

In order for the grizzlies to be competitive imo, OJ has to be the main guy. They are much better when he is the main scorer on the team. Conley is not a deftstarter by any stretch of the imagination, and I still believe conley would be better if he came off the bench and Iverson started. The season is still youngthough, we will see what this memphis team will do.

When they got Juice, they should have shipped Rudy out.

Granted I understood why they wanted these two to play with each other first, I think in the end we all knew there wasn't much of a chance for this duo tosucceed together.

Juice and Gasol need to be the foundation.

That Houston v Sac game was entertaining as hell. Evans and Jennings gonna battle for ROY it looks like.

Great first half for the Nuggs, Lakers, but the second half was all Denver, we stunk. Only bright spot for us, Bynum's play.
