I don't put too much stock in Dallas losing, they played the second of a back to back. But still, the Spurs are funny for winning without TD and TP.
BHZ, I want you to come in here and tell me again that Memphis is better then OKC. And if you EVEN THINK to blame losing on losing Iverson, I will send Miketo your house. Your team is not losing repeadetly because AI is gone.

Nas, I hear ya on him not bein a great coach, but where he's been, he gets at least 2-3 years of elite level outta his team, and then they tire of him. Most teams should take those 2-3 years and give it their best shot. He almost got Jersey a title, and he got NO close to conference finals with a bunch ofkids. The Spurs beat him both times. Which is just Pop is that good of a coach and beat him.

He was a victim of circumstances this time around but when I watch him, he doesn't make adjustments. He's always standing up with his arms folded

It's true, he does that non stop.
Still, his lineage is top notch. Learned under Riley, and Magic. Coached in Sac with Adelman. Won rings. Big moments. Should be able to relate to players,but I dunno how well.
If he had a team that spends money (LA) and gave him talent, he couldn't coach that? Maybe not today, but that's why I want him with Phil for a while,grooming him.
That dude who suggested Chris Paul to OKC has my mouth all waterin. I could only dream of that team with CP3.

i never said memphis problem was not having iverson around.
i've stated memphis problems several times:
-hollins needs to be fired
-conley isn't deserving of the starting pg spot
-lack of bench scoring
-overall defense
the team starters actually play well together, but everytime the bench comes in things get nasty. for the season our starters are averaging 80ppg and holdingopponent starters to 73ppg. our bench is averaging 19ppg, while the opponents bench is averaging 38ppg.
the past 9 seasons memphis has either started the season 1-8 or 2-7. even the 3 years they went to the playoffs, so the season is unpredictable at this point.i want to be mad at the team, but i'm still waiting on some adjustments to be made. if they don't make any adjustments, then its obvious that theydon't care anymore.
memphis will probably still beat the thunder once they get over there beginner season woes. its just sometimes you have to make adjustments and it pisses meoff that a blind man can see that, but our *%!#*$% coach and front office can't see it.
its amazing how our problems really isn't what everybody thought were going to be the main problems i.e. overall selfishness, randolph, etc. hell, we areone of the top rebounding teams in the league and have two players in the top 30 in efficency. we also are basically in the middle of the pack when it comes toassists in the league. i'm sticking to my 38 wins if AI comes back. if not, i will probably lower it to about 35.

-rudy is obviously playing to get a max contract, so hes trying to pad his stats
-doughboy is 20-10 like usual, but that doesnt equate to wins
-your bench is utter garbage
-mike conley is only starting because he is sadly the best pg on the team
-your #2 overall pick, has absolutely no speed, no offensive skill, he looks like snail when he runs the floor
-and when oj mayo gets the chance, hes probably going to leave memphis
MEMPHIS=TRASH ... your star player will prolly bolt ASAP, your draft pick sucks, your pg sucks, what you guys did to AI sucks, you guys SUCK,are TRASH...
-you guys are fun to use in nba 2k10 though....
