I'm feeling like this might have just been woodys way of handing JR a one game suspension for his foolery and he'll be back out there against philly.

I'm thinking 1-2 games. Hopefully woody will limit his minutes or take him out if he starts chucking shots or fooling around.

JR doesn't have to sit out every game, but he doesn't need 30+ minutes either.

If we're up big tomorrow in Philly give him some garbage time minutes to see if he's learned anything from his benching. If he's taking step back baseline jumpers with 16 second on the shot clock, put him back on the bench.

The ball is finally on Woodson's court (no pun intended). He can certainly use this to somewhat "control" JR now. He probably won't bench JR another game, but if he sees him making bonehead plays and decisions out there--he should yank him. Woodson needs to hold him accountable for his idiot decisions and make him play more controlled basketball. I also think Woodson needs to call JR into his office and have a discussion with him. JR will not get the point if there isn't any sort of dialogue of what's going on and expected of JR. He needs to be told that he's on a "short leash".

Great coaches do this. They treat every player the same, no matter who they are. This is something you'd see from Greg Popovich or Jerry Sloan. Woodson needs to do it too. It's what's best for JR and the team.

If this is after the fine then I can't mess with this kid at all.

I personally thought the fine was excessive and unfair. I thought the second incident should have been brushed aside by the league, but that right there is just him clowning himself. He's buggin out.

Like really, after all this backlash you sill gonna joke around about the situation and go clubbing? I mean when are you gonna buckle down and get focused? Sheesh. It's the perfect opportunity for him to take the hits and turn it around in spite of everybody. There's so much motivation to be great. I just dont get it .
