That game was absolutely incredible. I was off my seat the entire game. I can't remember that last time I was at the garden and cared about the game more than the food this season :lol

It made me happy to see Shumpert and THJr do what Landry Fields could never do for us--have a big game against the Heat and rise to the occasion.

There's been a lot of (imo unfair) Bargnani slander throughout the season but his performance tonight was big for us.

19 pts, 9-13

Dudes outplayed a few All-Star bigs this season.

Felton exposed Miami having no PG at the end of a game. Dude had it clicking at the right time in the 4th.

it's realistic that he won't stay this lethal from 3, but hopefully seeing those 3s drop will give him the confidence he needs to grow in other areas of his game as well.

Beno was injured and JR got himself benched, so can't give Woody props on playing THJR and Murry, but hopefully the potato realizes to stick with those guys. I'll give potato his props on getting his rotations right with the players he had though, especially Amare. He also didn't stupidly take out players when they were hot like he's done too often.

It's crazy to think if Woodson gets the rotations right, and key members of the supporting cast just plays at a level that's realistic and expected of them we can easily be the third best team in the east.

Svelt needs to just give us what he gave last season, penetration+decent tempo with reliability for 3.

Shump continuing to stretch the floor and provide much needed help on the boards.

And Bargs continuing to get fit and emerge as a consistent second scorer. Which he can do with his height and skill.

As far as rotations, Woodson needs to make STAT the focal point of our second unit and stop thinking we "need" JR.

This article is harsher than Ether, he straight murdered this dude with ink.

He calls out JR Smith for being a suburban dude, attacking his street cred lol. Wow.

Wojarnowski with the kill!! Best article I've read. Dayum.

Thought the article would have actually been better without the angry tone and saying stupid things like, "the knicks deserve him." Also, it's unprofessional to call him a clown. He used the whole prankster untying shoes thing as a way to take a jab calling him clown in a different way. The content and points are great though.

He brings up something I did recently, about how this dude fakes sincere apologies and goes right back to his ways. Dude got his boy killed with reckless driving, makes it seem like the death and jail time made him realize he's gotta change+mature, but nope. JR just JRs.

I like that he reminds/informs people of Smith's background too. You'd think JR is the classic headcase from the inner-city that grew up with no structure in a single parent home with nobody around. It would be the only way to explain his image and behavior, but nah he had it good. It's not a case of the life choosing him, but him choosing to be the way he is because he's a selfish a hole that doesn't take his profession seriously.

Smith's always loved to play the part of a tough city kid, but truth be told, he's a soft, spoiled suburban jump-shooter.

:lol

BTW, I swear these JB Melo commercials are the exact representation of this thread. Good job, lurking. :rollin

Wow. Did not see that coming. Maybe this is the wake up call the team needs. Gotta build upon this.

For all my Astoria and LIC people:

A cousin of mine is thinking about moving into a 1br apartment in those areas. Does anyone know what the average monthly rate would be? He said he found a few spots for $1600, but that sounds really high to me. Or maybe Astoria got more expensive over the years.

HTTB, I know you live out there. Mind sharing how much you spend a month on rent?
I'm super late, but that sounds about right for Astoria. Prices are getting crazy out here. I live just outside of Astoria, so I pay about that much for a 2br. Tell your boy to look a little more. If need be, I can hook you up with the realtor I used to get my place. She deals in Astoria.

i agree. article seemed real contemptuous. personal, even, as if it's something that's he's let build up inside of him. maybe he thinks he's speaking for a large section of knicks fans who may lean in that direction, but it sounded a little too angry for me to think there's not some kind of ulterior motive behind it

That article was funny until the mention of him being 28. It got real reality.

from reading the article, JR probably layed the pipe on the writer's chick :lol .

Am I the only one rooting for JR to be great once again in a Knicks uni?
“We just competitors, that’s it. I want what he got. He trying to get some more of those so I’m trying to get my team right. I can’t worry about what Miami is doing. I gotta worry about my New York Knicks and we go from there.”
