The bigger issue isn't JR Smith being JR Smith. We know he's a moron who does stupid things.

My real problem is he's shooting terribly. I'll live with his dumb antics if he was shooting about 40%. I'm not expecting James Harden-like efficiency, but damn.. get it above 40%

If JR Smith shot above 40% we'd all be able to tolerate him more. We'd probably win more games as well.

A cousin of mine is thinking about moving into a 1br apartment in those areas. Does anyone know what the average monthly rate would be? He said he found a few spots for $1600, but that sounds really high to me. Or maybe Astoria got more expensive over the years.

As much as I would like trade the head case that is JR I think this news coming out is just to scare him. I will believe it when they actually start having conversations with teams.

But just as mentioned before that 6th man award may have been the worst thing to happen.

last season he seemed much more mature and focused, maybe the contract, maybe Woodson having more of an effect mentally on him.
But dude really has acted as if he got the highest honor in professional sports with that award. Haven't seen any grind, hustle, ambition, or care since.

As far as I remember there have been JR trade rumors around this every season since he's been with the team. Makes more sense now cuz of his favorable contract.

It upsets me that we're looking into trading JR, because we've finally come to this level of frustration with him.

When JR is on his game and plays motivated basketball, he could be a HUGE help for any basketball team. The guy just never learned how to mature.

Watch us trade JR and see him do very well in whatever team he ends up in.

That's really only going to happen with Doc or Pop as coach though. Then when he starts playing better consistently and is overall more mature and probably gets an all-star reserve spot we'll see the interview about how the coach helped JR grow so much and how he had to respect him for his championship pedigree.

Thing is Pop might not even have the patience. He'd just cut/bench him.

The Clips already got JC though. They need more offensive players but I'd say they need a post up big man not more jump shooters. JJ Reddick is gonna come back for them.

Apparently based on a link posted in the previous pgs to just get a warning JR told the league Dwight Howard did it to him in the Houston game first and wasn't caught and now he's become inspired to do it to others

Bruh half the thread agreed with you, myself included but he was our best option sadly. With Woodson's anemic offense I doubt Monta would've worked out here.

Woodson's anemic offense or not, Monta Ellis has it all.

My thing is we never would've got him for cheap. I definitely prefer Ellis though. Hell I'd rather have OJ Mayo right now.

We have a Channel called BT Sport here that shows NBA games pretty much every night (They have bought the rights for ESPN here so we get NCAA, NBA, NFL, MLB etc.), Thankfully the Knicks are one of the big market teams so they are on quite alot, The games that aren't on TV I watch on NBA League Pass (Thank the lord for Jailbreak ), When we play out West I have to stay up until 2-3am for the Tip off so I hate them games

Melo 10-7 against Lebron during the regular season (11-11 including playoffs) with the Knicks winning the last 2 meetings. So I predict a win tonight. 

After the Heat, the Knicks have a favorable schedule against the 76ers, Suns and Bobcats before playin the Pacers.  We need to build momentum heading into Indiana.

After Indiana, we have 8 straight home games and only 2 of those teams are above .500. 

We could have the division lead by the beginning of Feb.
