Just finished watching the game
The Melo-Josh Smith thing is nothing new. Smith is considered one of the league's best defenders at his position yet has constantly been getting torched by Melo for a while now.
Over the last 5 games, Including tonight, Melo's been averaging 38.2 PPG on Smith which is crazy because you'd think he's an ideal defender on Melo.
The 3s by Melo and the defense by Shump propelled the run in the 3rd and won us the game.
Other notes:
Guess who the only player to play the whole 4th was...JR! With a grand total of 0 FGM in the 4th. And the guy who dominated the first quarter, Bargs, barely played.
Drummond DOMINATED early, but the vets of the knicks got him back. STAT with the reverse dunk on him, and then my man Kenyon with his 2k1 style blocks. I've never see the snobby lower bowl of the knicks go from dead to ready to fight in a snap like that

Also, it felt good to finally be able to go into watching a game expecting a W for the first time in a while. And it was an ugly first half, but they delivered

This is absolutely incomprehensible to me. It's almost to the point where it seems as though Woodson is actively trying to sabotage us.

Its annoying to think that JR might hit 1 game winner or string together 3 decent games and Woodson is gunna feel like a genius with the media like his plan of sticking with him worked.
i hate these ideas he instills. young players cant finish games. we NEED jr smith. no we ****** don't, we need the players that give us the best chance to win that night.

Happy with the win but what is damn annoying is that Felton comes back and gets the minutes from the younger players who have looked promising

Felton JUST came back, sheesh.... theres gonna be rust.
He's a LOT more reliable then Beno, although I agree with being mad about the reduction in Hardaway and Murry's minutes.

I'd love to see 'Tatohead try hitting wack teams 2nd units with a Prigs, Murry, Shump, Ron, STAT type of lineup and catching them off guard.
