Agree.  Took an L with the birds too.  Went with my gut and they let me down.  Still happy even after losing money since my niners won.

I like the under at 51.5.  Not to sure they will defeat clemson though but at -5.5  you may still be good.  I feel like its a good bet.

Biggest worry I have for Clemson is their green OL going against that Lville front and their WR core not having Mike Williams going against that 2ndary.

Houston beat L'Ville but that was an easy letdown spot (& Herman is a good coach)

Both teams were looking ahead to this game last week and if App St was any good then that score would have been much closer.

This will be the 1st game you really get to see if not having Chad Morris will affect them this season. So far they have been able to get by on base schemes and talent alone.

Louisville on the other hand has a very athletic QB who sprays the ball on occasion and OL issues of their own. Losing Quick was a big loss. But Petrino is a hell of a offensive mind and a play caller & w/ Clemson's defense not being what it was last year he might be able to keep him out of detrimental situations. Clemson's DL is young, so they might be able to catch them being extra aggressive (playing to get up the field instead of playing contain & trying to collapse the pocket).

I feel like something may be up w/ Clemson though because that line last week was way too low and this one seems low to me as well. Maybe Vegas just doesn't have a good beat on them yet.

And then of course you have the weirdness of the Thursday Night home dog.

Faded 2 CY Young candidates yesterday in Dallas and Jake. Texas destroyed Dallas, but the Pirates couldn't come up with the W against Jake in extra innings. I just didn't think Dallas would come through since his splits between home and road games are pretty different. Houston is also bad on the road and Texas had a lot of momentum after taking the #1 spot.

The problem isn't that he's any worse than last year. His physical abilities have been bottoming out for awhile now -- It's how Zubiak is using him. Under center, PA passes (also from under center), roll outs...It severely limits the strengths of an aging Peyton and forces him to play the game like a young man. It's not going to work unless they change that.
