Im 15 and I could say I don't really buy "heat" anymore, like I still have some stuff but I sold a couple other stuff and dont really care. Aslong as I have on somethng nice and im lookin' clean than im good. No need for me to spend hundreds of bucks on 1 pair of sneakers and I feel like I dontgotta impress nobody with "heat" cause I simply dont need to... When did ya get out of the habbit? Im not saying that I dont like a good pair ofsneakers anymore but its just that im not going out of my way to spend money on a expensive sneaker nd @$@%...

when i was like 14-15

i just need a solid rotation of 3-4 nice pairs, nothing too flashy or outlandish

1st grade

classmate had some fresh Jordans on
after that i had to have the freshest sneakers

but to answer your question bout 19-20...that was when Rent was due...

turning 27 (in a few weeks) and i'm still into kicks. though not as much as before i still buy on occasion.

I was into it and spent literally all my money between the ages of 17-20 or so. Proceeded to start selling everything off around 21 and continuing to do sonow. I barley rotate anymore, maybe at most 10 different pairs I wore in the last 3-4 months or so

28 years old and ive already sold off two collections, ill never stop loving sneakers its just not going to happen however buying them is a different story.I've been sticking with the sneakers i wanted as a kid and thats it, i don't buy fusions, i don't buy sneakers i just all of a sudden startedliking (because most likely they will be out the door) and i refuse to buy because something is limited. Most days il ladmit i wear one set of plain vans ordress shoes and everything just sits in the closet (which im not too fond of) also I agree with the OP its become harder to spend money on expensive sneakersthat you care too much about id rather beat a pair of regular sneakers and just live my life and not worry about them getting dirty (not to mention once youhit your late 20's or 30's you have bigger fish to fry than worrying about sneakers all day.)

been rockin jays and the likes almost all my life. to me its not just sneakers. its memories and a way for me to remember pieces of my past. as long as nikecontinues to retro shoes i had (at important times of my life) i will never stop.
