I had the exact same mindset, copped off finishline with a discount and gift cards but they wouldn't take mine back then i had to pay shipping with insurance just in case to send them back to nike. imagine having to do that now and then waiting all the time for a voucher, then nike restocks and they sell out and you out of luck. well unless you just wanna keep the voucher for another time i guess. I dunnno its just a hassle i wouldn't want anybody going through tbh.
If Nike screws up, they are usually good with taking care of you, even if you have to wait. Just get it escalated up the chain. Thank goodness I haven’t had any popping with my pair, but they sent me a 15 instead of 13 for the early 2/5 release. I had to wait two weeks , but once they found a pair, I got that **** next day. Even luckier for me, I was able to get a 12.5 which I originally wanted instead as well.
I get what you’re saying though, who wants to intentionally wait?
Hopefully anyone who did the voucher route doesn’t have to wait too long. Heck maybe some new colors will be available by then.
