I'm really trying to like the 2s (first form), but I just can't... I think the only way they can be saved would be good mesh upper cws and NBY.

Really a mesh build upper. No stiffness on the toebox, quite similar to an air Zoom Spiridon

Mesh/Spiridon inspired pairs might give people a change* of heart. They feel lighter and more comfortable from jump. Hoping they do a regal/signal blue colorway. I pray it’s not a PE

Size 10 in Book 1s and Book 2s
But for reference, 9.5 in other classics like Jordan 1, AF1, Dunks, Air Techs, Air Zoom Spiridon.
Only other Nike’s I’ve gone 10 in are Foamposites.

lol that’s where I’m at on these. I get Book likes to pay homage to the classic Nike models but I’ll just get a pair of Spiridons.

lol, Spiridons are actually a comfortable good looking shoe though. All things considered might be better just to get the real thing unless the person is actually going to ball in them.

For sure. I’m not acting like it’s an all-time classic in my eyes either. Thing is, this shoe doesn’t just draw inspiration from it, it’s a complete copy and paste. It looks good, but it looks good because it’s a direct copy and paste lol

Here’s a few pics I took during the Nike Book 2 “Phoenix” activation. Overall it was a great event, got to meet Book’s dad. The line wrapped around the block, so if you were at the back it took 2-3 hours to get in and purchase your pair. Not too bad. I never saw so many Book 1s in one place, it was cool to see. One things for sure Arizonians buy Book 1s and support D Book to the fullest.
