An anecdote : I was in Paris last night and I crossed a guy who complimented the zebra ones, habitually it's cool when someones complimente your sneakers, but this time especially because he was wearing nice white Asics marble...It's cool when you cross people who is in the same sneakers state of mind...

thats why i frequent NT so much. none of my friends are "sneakerheads."  i have one or two that like sneakers, but theres a huge difference between the two.  id say its 5% of the population that likes sneakers and maybe collects.  its prob less than 1% that are sneakerheads.  no shade on heads, but if you cant sit and freely have a convo about kicks (history, design, searches, pick ups etc), you aint a sneakerhead.  so yes, its absolutely refreshing to find similar people.

People always ask me where i get my amps from an oldish fella 50 maybe who was wearing triple black prestos which were probably his pride and joy as didnt look that well off asked me where i got my 'hate' from and told him footlocker he replied 'thats why i cant find them in JD sports then' hopefully he will get hos pair of amps as he was eyeing them up for ages sat in the hospital before he even asked me, i was eyeing his prestos up when he walked in 'sneakers before the face' rule n that [emoji]128514[/emoji][emoji]128077[/emoji][emoji]127995[/emoji]

You can spot fakes only with experience: unreleased colorways, bad shapes, bad tags, wrong materials...
