I've been going to Magic charity events for quite sometime and I remember the pair he wore at the '96 All-Star game as they auctioned off the exact pair for their Black Tie and Tennies Gala. It was definitely durabuck and had a white swoosh on the midsole and tongue. The Penny logo was also all-white and laced with silver accents...

I'm pretty sure he was referring to the model of the air penny,not the actual colorway..everyone knows this is a new colorway..good info tho and thanks for your knowledgable input

So apparently tukwila did get these today..I called twice last night and they kept on telling me no and now I call this morning and they do have them in stock all of a sudden..still on the edge on this release..I would cop for resale but feel I'd end up losing than gaining

Bold print speaks otherwise. If that's the case, why would one be specific as to a time and place? Penny didn't wear just this style/model of shoe in one game. He had alternate versions throughout the '95-'96 season...
Found a picture and I can see where the guy was coming from, but it definitely isn't the same shoe. Similar in colorway, but definitely not all-blacked out and definitely not ripstop...
