you can also take em back to Niketown or a Factory store.

I still doubt the mudguards of the first batch of iDs will be suede though. But if they do, I'll definitely order more pairs!

I just realized that every section of the shoe that allows you to choose between the suede and the reflective material, the splatter option goes away when youselect reflective. And the splatter option is constant for the mudguard. So I'm inclined to believe the mudguard is suede as well. I don't know ifthat's been brought to anyone's attention yet.

Not that it matters to me, I'm in it for the color combos.

(edit) - I just called a Nike iD "specialist", and they sounded unsure of what the mudguard material is. She gave me the "synethetic mesh ORleather" reply.

I've always wanted the "Heinekams" after seeing Cris1's iD's, so Iwent ahead and ordered these . . .

The mudguard better be suede. I'm sure it will be, but with Nike, you can never rule anythingout.

i couldn't wait, i just copped these (added 3 "PROTO KNOWS" id shirts to get free shipping):

i had to take my own screenshots because when i tried to render an image through nike it faded the black on the mudguard, like it does when you roll over themudguard option (making it really hard to see the purple splatter on the black).

i'm hoping they turn out good... i had purple splatter on the midsole too, but i decided to take it off... i think it was making it too busy.

the only thing i'm worried about is the purple splatter not showing up on the black mudguard (if it doesn't show up good enough i'll probably send'em back and redo something, like make the mudguard all black with no purple splatter and instead add the purple splatter to the midsole)... crossing myfingers tho (if i do have to send 'em back i ain't sweatin' it, i got free shipping, and when i've sent something back b4, nike sent me a freeshipping coupon in my email shortly there after, so you can fix whatever and reorder them)...

really, really stoked on this colorway tho... can't wait to get 'em!
