gonna be my last shoe of the year. Hoping Nike does an EU shock drop this week

I meant to say that I may need to get 2 pairs and pick the better one or mix and match; I only want one pair to keep. Having double-ups stresses me out b/c I wear all of my shoes and a double-up would mean one remaining DS for so long it would either re-retro, or the one in the closet would deteriorate and be unwearable. But if you wear it to help deter degradation, then you can't resell it. Anyway, I'm a one-and-done guy, but sometimes I acquire a couple when there's QC issue concerns and they sell out quickly like most of the shoes I tend to acquire.

This is what i do. I wear all of my shoes. And if I double up I wear them both. One day one pair and another day the other pair. I won’t have the several years old DS problems.

I’m so damn picky I can do this (double up on my favorites and wear them) and still keep my rotation around 40 pairs. At least for now and the near future.

So disappointed. I usually don’t trip over a few flaws, but these look like they were already worn and scuffed a few times (the leather literally has a few cuts in the back).

Shock drop pair delivered today. IMO...a solid release. Great materials (I’ll co-sign the 5 leather statement). Better overall and toe shape compared to 2012 AND the WC and BC. Both previous releases slightly boxier. Great padded tongue and very sturdy build, plus that red!

I’ll take this pair.

My pair wasn’t flawless but at least it has a beauty mark that differentiates it from other pairs. I love mine cause they’re MINE! Noticed tho shoes have same beginning production but different ending production dates between left and right shoe.

I don’t mind the pre-creases on them that much because when I wear them it won’t matter anymore. What I don’t want is that nasty wrinkly leather, looks bad

Yeah no kidding! Same trash leather for years

and if I get that wrinkled garbage on my pair back it goes. I WISH the qc problems would end after shock drop. That would be epic.

I haven't even seen my shock drop pair yet but as a big footer I know my pair is gonna have trash quality. I'll probably looking to sell these.

Doesn't help that I've never been a big fan of the fire red colorway on this shoe.

You know what ... and it's hard to say this ... but taking this all in ... I'm probably not going to end up with a pair of these. I will try on SNKRS and others but the way things are going lately, there is a good chance I will not get them at retail. And no way I'm paying resale for this butchered retro. I want a pair just for history sake, since it was my first Air Jordan ever, back in 1989. But from what we've seen so far, these are meh at best. Thanks a lot, Nike and JB, for nothing.
